Chapter 146
Jason carefully tried to remember but couldnโt recall who had touched his phone.
Jason thought, "The phone was always with me. Why were the photos deleted?"
"Damn it. It feels awful to be wronged. Who did touch my phone?"
Jason thought hard and finally concluded that he might have deleted them by accident.
It was a pity. Those design drafts were great. How did they suddenly become Eastonโs companyโs design drafts?
Jason fell into a trance and recalled how Jennifer staged a kidnapping at the party. It led to Natalie being beaten by Easton and Nick.
Jason thought, "Damn it. Natalie is vicious. She deserved it, right? It wasnโt Jenniferโs fault."
Jason continued to check the car impatiently.
In the car, Natalie closed her eyes in sadness.
As Luna drove, she couldnโt help glancing at the distressed Natalie and said angrily, โNatalie, donโt be upset. Theyโre just a few design drafts. Your inspiration never runs out. You will have better design drafts soon.โ
Natalie took a deep breath and tried not to be sad, but she failed.
Natalie said, โNo, I canโt just let it go. Letโs go to find Isabelle. I will fight with her.โ Natalieโs eyes were burning with anger. She couldnโt just let it go.
Luna, whose eyes were filled with anger, said, โOK!โ
Half an hour later, the car stopped in front of Garcia Group.
Luna said softly, โNatalie, weโre here.โ
Natalie opened her eyes and said, โWait for me here.โ
Luna was worried about her and said, โNatalie, I would like to go with you. If thereโs any danger, I can protect you. If I donโt keep you safe, Mr. Shawn will scold me.โ
Natalie chuckled, โSilly girl, do you think I canโt fight? Iโm not a pushover.โ
Luna unbuckled Natalieโs safety belt and said, โNo, you donโt have to do it. Iโll deal with it.โ
Natalieโs small face looked chilly under the sunlight. Her eyes were shining.
Seeing Lunaโs determination, Natalie smiled, didnโt say anything, and walked in with her.
They entered the lobby but were stopped by the receptionist.
Natalie rarely visited Eastonโs company. He once told her, โUnless itโs urgent, donโt come over. I donโt want others to misinterpret our relationship and make Jennifer upset.โ
Since then, Natalie had never gone to his company once. This was Natalieโs first time going to his company.
Though the receptionistโs gaze changed, the receptionist said politely, โDo you have an appointment?โ
Natalie looked at the receptionist and said, โIโm here to see Easton.โ
The receptionist glanced at Natalie with disdain and said, โIโm sorry, you canโt see Mr. Garcia without an appointment.โ
The receptionist had a bad attitude. Natalie got annoyed and said, โOK. Call him and say Natalie is here to see him.โ
The receptionist said, โIโm sorry, I canโt call for you without an appointment. If you want to see Mr. Garcia, you need to make an appointment first.โ The receptionist looked at Natalie with arrogance, which made Natalie uncomfortable.
Natalie clenched her fists. A murderous glint flashed in Lunaโs eyes.
Natalie stopped the angry Luna.
Natalie said, โNo need. Iโll call Easton.โ
The receptionist said, โOh, you have Mr. Garciaโs number. How can you see him? Get lost and donโt tarnish the presidentโs eyes.โ
Natalie kept silent and held back her anger.
She took out her phone to call Easton.
She had blocked Eastonโs number.
She retrieved Eastonโs number and made the call.
The receptionist frowned and looked at the beautiful Natalie coldly.
The receptionist said, โSecurity guards, get over here and throw the two troublesome women out!โ
Natalie said coldly, โEaston, are all your receptionists so arrogant? Are they always this rude? I didnโt call you to make an appointment, and she asked security guards to throw me out.โ
Easton answered the phone.
The receptionist became more conceited and said, โMadam, thereโs only one person allowed to come and go freely here. She is Mr. Garciaโs girlfriend, Ms. Simpson. You barged in and made a scene here. Did I do something wrong? Who do you think you are to shout around here? Just by looking at your face, I can tell youโre up to no good. You must want to seduce Mr. Garcia.โ
Hearing this, Natalie thought, โI guessed right.โ
Natalie hung up and didnโt hear what Easton had said.
Natalie stepped forward and kicked the receptionist in the belly. The receptionist was caught off guard. She was kicked into the air and landed awkwardly on the ground.
Natalie sneered and said angrily, โI canโt take it anymore!โ
Jennifer came over with a lunch box. She glared at Natalie and said, โNatalie, what are you doing? Why are you beating her?โ
Jennifer thought, โItโs great Natalie found it out and came here to cause trouble for Easton. I warned Natalie to get out of Shagrity. Otherwise, I would find many ways to deal with her.โ
The receptionist said, โMs. Simpson, help me! She is crazy and beats me crazy!โ
The receptionist was trembling all over. She was almost knocked out by that kick. When she fell, her mind went blank.
Jennifer said, โNatalie, do you think I wonโt call the police?โ
Natalie arched her eyebrows in a black dress. She looked aloof. She chuckled, โGo ahead and call the police. I just happen to have some evidence of you framing me. Iโm ready to give it to the police.โ
Jennifer mocked, โNatalie, you always say that, but why havenโt you given the evidence to the police?โ
Natalie looked at Jennifer calmly. Natalieโs eyes were as clear as water. She compressed her red lips slightly.
Under the lights, Natalieโs pretty eyes seemed to be coated with a thin layer of frost. Natalie said, โItโs not the right time yet. When the time comes, not only will you die, but youโll be the ugliest corpse ever seen.โ
In this life, the only ones Natalie cared about were her grandfather and her three brothers.
Natalie said, โJennifer, do you know how painful death is? Do you know how painful it is when the soul is torn from the body? One day, Iโll make you feel a pain that makes you feel living worse than dying.โ
Natalieโs tone was serious. Her gaze was icy. Jennifer was scared.
Jennifer said, โYouโฆโ
Before Jennifer finished speaking, Easton walked out of the elevator.
Xavier followed behind Easton.
Jennifer eagerly approached Easton and said, โEaston, Natalie beat the receptionist at your company. She is out of control."
Easton looked at Natalie sharply and said, โNatalie, why did you beat her?โ
Natalie smiled calmly, โWhy did I beat her? Why donโt you ask how your receptionist treated guests? The nasty things she said were unbearable. I have a bad temper and canโt stand such words. Whatโs wrong with beating her? Go ahead. You can call the police.โ
Easton saw the coldness in her eyes and knew how angry Natalie was.
The receptionist said, โMr. Garcia, I didnโt do it. She slanders me.โ
The receptionist walked over to Easton and played the victim.
Luna sneered, held up her phone, and played a video for Easton to see. Luna said, โMr. Garcia, your receptionist is so arrogant.โ
