Worried she'd stressed Lily, Jenny tried to backpedal. "Actually, you don't have to aim for the championship. You just started at Rebirth, so you don't have to—"

"Don't worry, just trust me!" Lily squeezed Jenny's hand gently and stood. "I need to use the bathroom."

Lily had never cared about fame, pride in her work, competitions, awards, or even production. She seemed unconcerned about everything. According to her, Nathaniel had taught her how to do it well.
