Listen to this chapter:

Fred was furious. "I don't care! Do whatever is necessary to save her. Otherwise, I'll kill you all!" He meant every word.

The doctors monitored the queen and Lily's health, ensuring optimal bodily function. Fred demanded perfection, needing the best possible results for his analysis. Yet, they informed him Lily was dying, jeopardizing his goals. He refused to accept it.

"Why would Lily suddenly collapse under such tight surveillance?" he demanded, turning to the guard. "What did she eat yesterday?"

The guard shook his head. "The usual. No one entered her room, so she couldn't have eaten anything else."

"That's strange," Fred muttered, approaching the doctor. "How is she?"

"She's not improving. Her heart rate is slow, but she's still alive, for now. Her condition is critical," the doctor concluded.

Frustrated, Fred shoved the doctors aside, grabbing Lily's shoulders. "What the hell have you done to yourself?! Are you out of your mind?! Do you think you can solve this by dying?"

He shouted through clenched teeth, "I won't let you! You will only die when I say so! Do you hear me?"

Despite his harsh shaking, Lily remained unresponsive. When he released her, she fell heavily onto the bed.

Fred took a deep breath, glaring down at her. "Save her! Use whatever you haveโ€”electric shock, needles, medication, anything. Do you understand?"

"Y-Yes, Your Grace!" the others stammered.

He nodded. "Stay here until Lily wakes up. If she doesn'tโ€ฆ" He left the threat unspoken.

"Yes, Your Grace," they replied, their unease palpable.

The sudden coma was baffling; a healthy person wouldn't simply collapse. However, the doctors hesitated to administer an electric shock given Lily's weak heartbeat. They opted for a more cautious approach, focusing on diagnosing her illness.
