Chapter 2195

"If you can use it on anyone, you can use it on me, too, right?" Fred stared at Rhea. His words, though calmly spoken, carried a thinly veiled threat. Rhea felt a chill run down her spine, realizing her misspoken words. She kept her head down. "Of course not, Your Grace! Having given you R20, you'll decide its use. Iโ€”I would neverโ€”"

Fred interjected, laughing. "I'm just saying. I doubt you could do it even if you wanted to. You've done well; stay here for now. I'll get someone to settle you in. However, for your safety, don't go outside the embassy. Understand?" Rhea nodded. "Yes, I'll do anything you say, sir. From now on, I'm yours to command!"

Pleased, Fred waved her away, instructing a guard to escort her. Immediately, his smile vanished. He produced a handkerchief, unwrapped it, and examined the small bottle within, wondering if it was as potent as Rhea claimed.

Cameron soon arrived at Alexander's house with Dr. Blanc and the X Department team, their equipment in tow. Alexander had briefed them on the events, piquing their interest. They had seen such things in fiction, but none had encountered an invisible person. The team spent half a day photographing and collecting evidence, returning later to analyze their findings.

Dr. Blanc, Cameron, Austin, Alexander, and Mike remained in the house, exchanging glances. Cameron turned to Dr. Blanc. "I don't know much about science. What do you think?"

Dr. Blanc sat up, speaking solemnly. "It's theoretically impossible. While we've seen it in superhero movies, rendering a human body's internal organs, tissues, and bones transparent to the naked eye is simply not feasible."

"But she vanished into thin air," Mike countered. "How did she do it if she didn't turn invisible?"

"I don't know for sure at this moment. I'm speaking based on years of research and medical knowledge. What do you think, Austin?" Dr. Blanc asked.

Austin, startled by the question, scratched his head. "Well, I'm not sure. While unlikely based on my experience, it's hard to say what a laboratory might achieve." Cameron nodded in agreement.

"Even though it's absurd, we can't rule anything out yet. Dr. Blanc, perform any necessary tests. My men have intensified surveillance across the city. Once we locate Rhea, we'll arrest her." He turned to Alexander. "Have youโ€”"

"Yes, I checked the surveillance footage here but found nothing unusual," Alexander finished.
