The surveillance cameras did not capture Rhea's departure. Two possibilities existed: someone inside the house had helped her evade detection, or she had somehow become invisible.

Before the test results arrived, no one dared to speculate. Cameron and Dr. Blanc departed after exchanging opinions, unable to remain longer. At that moment, the DNA results for the twins were released. Reading the report, Alexander felt tears welling up. Indeed, they were his childrenโ€”the twins he hadn't seen since their birth had returned.

He felt conflicted, however, as he still didn't know Lily's condition. Alexander hired a longtime, trusted maid to care for the children; he couldn't be with them constantly and distrusted others, having had a negative experience with a previous nanny.

When Mike and Austin retired, Edward arrived, looking unwell as the toxin within him took effect. Lily had prescribed medicine, but a thorough treatment was needed. Austin had attempted treatment, but with insignificant results. For now, only Lily's prescription offered any hope, a fact Edward accepted; he felt fortunate to be alive. He rarely discussed it, having important matters to attend to.

He hurried to Alexander, grimly stating, "It's the doctorโ€ฆ"

Having worked with Edward for a long time, Alexander immediately understood. He sat up, looking thoughtfully at Edward. "Did you find him?"

"News from inside the embassyโ€ฆ he's dead," Edward said through clenched teeth. The doctor had volunteered to return to the embassy for their sake, despite their disagreements and plans for his departure. He'd secretly returned, leaving a message promising caution. He would never return. "How dare they resort to murder in Hyderland!" Alexander clenched his fists, his face contorted in anger.

"I instructed our contact to limit communication to avoid detection," Edward continued. "The good news is, your wife is safe."

While relieved by this news, Alexander was deeply saddened by the doctor's death.
