Chapter 1210

"Annie, don't be rash!" Ralph urged.

Hannah shook her head, holding his hand. "Even without my arms, I still have legs, eyes, and a mouth. We'll find a way to make a living. I don't care, as long as I'm with you."

"But..." Heather scoffed. "Have you thought this through? I'll banish you from the Riggs family, and you'll lose your arms while your beloved is broke. How will you survive then?"

"You know nothing about love," Hannah retorted, unmoved.

Heather glanced at Chomp, and a knife clattered to the floor. "You agreed so readily. Think you can reattach your arms after I cut them off?"

Lily frowned at the obviously sharpened blade, then at Heather's severe expression.

Hannah exclaimed, bending to pick up the knife. Chomp stepped onto the blade before she could touch it. She looked up, bewildered.

Heather laughed. "Be patient! I'm not done yet. There's one more condition." She fixed her gaze on Ralph. "Third, I want one of Ralph's legs."

Ralph blanched.

Hannah cried out, "Why?! No way!"

Ralph echoed, "No way!"

Lily sighed inwardly. Hannah readily agreed to lose her arms, but refuses to sacrifice Ralph's leg. She's so deeply in love.

"This has nothing to do with him! I'm the Riggs family member who poisoned you, not him. He knew nothing. Why take his leg? You have no right!" She turned to Lily. "Ms. Christian, Ralph is a Russell. Will you stand by while they do this to him? Say something! We can't allow it!" Lily saw Hannah's anxiety, then Ralph protectively clutching his legs. "Don't you think it's unfair that your sister only wants one of his legs while demanding both of her arms?"

Hannah shook her head. "This is between her and me. It has nothing to do with Ralph! Let him go, and I'll stay. Just chop off my arms, and I won't leave with him. Let him go! Don't chop off his leg!"

Lily was shocked. She wants to be with Ralph so much. Now, so close to freedom, she'll give it all up? She's offering herself to save him. How could she love him so much?
