The man shot a contemptuous look at Jaden, then, his face etched with worry, turned to Tina. “Tina, are you alright? I’m sorry I’m late.”

Tina threw herself into the man’s arms, sobbing, “Mr. Loxley, what took you so long? A moment later, and he would have killed me!”

She lightly pounded Eden Loxley’s chest, her face bathed in tears, a sight that moved anyone to pity.

Eden was terribly distressed, embracing her and comforting her profusely. “Don’t be afraid. With me here, he wouldn’t dare do anything to you.”

"So you’re the other man?" Jaden never imagined that Tina was breaking up with him for a fifty-year-old man.

He thought, ‘How is this man better than me?’

Eden snorted coldly, “Mr. Monroe, don’t talk nonsense. I only fell in love with her after you and Tina broke up. How can you call me that?"

“Mr. Monroe, you actually beat up a young girl because of some expenses you had for her during your relationship? That’s truly unbecoming. Does the Monroe family really care about such a small amount of money?

“Oh, that’s right. I heard the Monroe family’s investments failed, all projects were canceled, and Monroe Group’s stock price plummeted significantly.
