Chapter 655

Stephanie looked at the mess in the room, then at the blood on the bed. She turned back to Sofia with a complicated expression. โ€œSofia, youโ€ฆโ€

โ€œThis is my first time. I havenโ€™t slept with that bastard Dan before. When we were on good terms, I was even thinking about waiting until marriage to sleep with him.โ€ Talking about Dan, Sofia was full of indifference. But when she thought about how her first time had been taken from her so carelessly, she was so angry she almost exploded. All she wanted now was to find that bastard and torture him to death.

Stephanie was a little surprised. It was unexpected that Sofia and Dan had never slept together when they were dating. They had seemed so in love back then.

Sofia picked up the glass of water in front of her and took a sip. โ€œDamn it, I donโ€™t even know who took my first time now,โ€ she said angrily.

Stephanie looked at Sofia again. Her neck was covered in red marks. Stephanie said, โ€œWe need to find that guy first.โ€ No matter who it was, they had to find him.

Sofia nodded. โ€œYes, we have to find him.โ€ She thought the situation was truly annoying.

Stephanie asked, โ€œWho brought you back to your room last night?โ€

โ€œJulia, you know her. I just called her. She said that when she brought me back to my room, there was no one there.โ€ Sofia was even angrier when she mentioned this.

Stephanie said, โ€œBut the people in the surveillance room said that the cameras werenโ€™t working.โ€

โ€œYeah, they werenโ€™t working. How convenient, right?โ€ Sofia said angrily. She wanted to find that bastard and cut him into pieces, but they couldnโ€™t even find him.

Stephanie said, โ€œYes, itโ€™s a coincidence.โ€ Even Stephanie thought this monitor failure was strange.

Ten minutes later, the hotel manager and the security guard in charge of monitoring the room arrived, as Sofia requested. Stephanie took a gun from her bag and put it on the table. Her eyes were cold as she glanced at the security guard. She made it clear what she was there for. The faces of the security guard and the manager immediately turned pale.

Sofiaโ€™s lips twitched when she saw Stephanie take out the gun. โ€œWhy do you carry that around with you?โ€ Sofia had given Stephanie the gun after she was kidnapped, but she hadnโ€™t seen Stephanie carry it since then. Sofia thought Stephanie brought it only because she heard something was wrong on the phone.

Sofia was touched. She didnโ€™t raise Stephanie in vain.

The hotel manager said, โ€œMs. Giovanni, what do you mean?โ€ Knowing that they were from the Giovanni family, the managerโ€™s tone was extremely polite and even fearful. To be honest, they were now caught between a rock and a hard place. If they revealed even half a word about the person who threatened them to delete the surveillance, they would die. And if they didnโ€™t handle this properly, they would definitely not be able to get out of this room alive. He thought, โ€˜Why is it so hard to be alive?โ€™

Stephanie leaned back on the sofa lazily, her hand subconsciously resting on her lower abdomen. She said, โ€œTell me, who deleted the surveillance?โ€ The hotel manager and the security guardโ€™s faces turned pale again after hearing this.

Sofia looked at her instinctively. She said, โ€œDโ€“deleted?โ€ She thought, โ€œThey dared to do such a thing? Did they even know who they were messing with?โ€

โ€œMs. Giovanni, the surveillance really is down.โ€ The security guard was sweating. He and the hotel manager wanted to cry. They didnโ€™t dare to tell her the truth.

Stephanie glanced at them coldly and said nothing.
