Stephanie looked at the mess in the room, then at the blood on the bed. She turned back to Sofia with a complicated expression. “Sofia, you…”

“This is my first time. I haven’t slept with that bastard Dan before. Sofia picked up the glass of water in front of her and took a sip. “Damn it, I don’t even know who took my first time now,” she said angrily.

Stephanie looked at Sofia again. Her neck was covered in red marks. Stephanie said, “We need to find that guy first.” No matter who it was, they had to find him.

Sofia nodded. “Yes, we have to find him.” She thought the situation was truly annoying.

Stephanie asked, “Who brought you back to your room last night?”

“Julia, you know her. I just called her. She said that when she brought me back to my room, there was no one there.” Sofia was even angrier when she mentioned this.

Stephanie said, “But the people in the surveillance room said that the cameras weren’t working.”

“Yeah, they weren’t working. How convenient, right?” Sofia said angrily. She wanted to find that bastard and cut him into pieces, but they couldn’t even find him.

Stephanie said, “Yes, it’s a coincidence.” Even Stephanie thought this monitor failure was strange.

Ten minutes later, the hotel manager and the security guard in charge of monitoring the room arrived, as Sofia requested. Stephanie took a gun from her bag and put it on the table. Her eyes were cold as she glanced at the security guard. She made it clear what she was there for. The faces of the security guard and the manager immediately turned pale.

Sofia’s lips twitched when she saw Stephanie take out the gun. “Why do you carry that around with you?” Sofia had given Stephanie the gun after she was kidnapped, but she hadn’t seen Stephanie carry it since then. Sofia thought Stephanie brought it only because she heard something was wrong on the phone.

Sofia was touched. She didn’t raise Stephanie in vain.

The hotel manager said, “Ms. Giovanni, what do you mean?” Knowing that they were from the Giovanni family, the manager’s tone was extremely polite and even fearful. To be honest, they were now caught between a rock and a hard place. If they revealed even half a word about the person who threatened them to delete the surveillance, they would die. Sofia looked at her instinctively. She said, “D–deleted?” She thought, “They dared to do such a thing? Did they even know who they were messing with?”

“Ms. Giovanni, the surveillance really is down.” The security guard was sweating. He and the hotel manager wanted to cry. They didn’t dare to tell her the truth.

Stephanie glanced at them coldly and said nothing.
