Stephanie picked one up and tasted it. She had to admit, it was delicious. “Mmm, so tasty,” she said, truly enjoying it.

When Sebastian walked in, he saw Stephanie looking completely satisfied with what she was eating. Her round cheeks added a special kind of cuteness.

Stephanie’s cheeks were full, and she quickly said, “Sebastian, this tastes amazing! Where did you get it?” She had stayed in Long Harbor for so long and never knew there was such delicious pastry here.

Sebastian said, “If you like it, I’ll let Elliot drive over later and buy more for you to bring to Fiorenza.”

Hearing this, Stephanie’s eyes lit up. “Are we going back today?”

Sebastian nodded. “Yeah, our flight is tonight.”

Hearing they were leaving tonight, Stephanie smiled happily. Since Sebastian said so, it seemed like there would be no surprises about going home. She was worried that if they didn’t leave soon, Ella might worry about her.

Lorenzo shouldn’t do something like this, scaring Ella like that. Stephanie remembered something. “Looks like Richard and Sofia have already gone back to Fiorenza.”

Stephanie was going to tell Sebastian about this last night, but he came back drunk. And by the time she got up this morning, Sebastian was already gone.

Sebastian raised his eyebrows. “Did they call you?”

“Yeah,” Stephanie nodded. Not only did they call, but Richard was unbelievably arrogant on the phone.

Stephanie glanced at Sebastian. “Isn’t Sofia in Sandara?” She thought, ‘Isn’t Dan there too? Normally, Sofia wouldn’t come back to Fiorenza so soon. But she did.’

Sebastian pulled her into his arms to sit down and gave her a piece of cake.

Stephanie shook her head. “No thanks, I’m already full.”

“Eating so little these days?” Sebastian asked.

Stephanie was stunned by Sebastian’s remark. She thought, ‘Yeah, why am I eating so little now? I’m not used to this. Before, I would have eaten everything, but now, I’ve had less than a third.’

Stephanie shook her head. “Not sure what’s been going on lately, but I can’t eat much.” She realized she hadn’t had any midnight snacks for days. Before, if she skipped a midnight snack, she’d be starving. She thought, ‘When did my appetite shrink like this?’

Sebastian asked, “Has Allison checked on you?”

Stephanie shook her head. “No, she had something come up and left before coming in.” Allison had been pretty busy lately. “Why are you back so early?” Stephanie asked. She had just finished calling him a moment ago, and here he was already. Sebastian said, “Once things were done, I came back.” He didn’t mention knowing Jackson was here. Stephanie nodded, feeling a bit weak. She leaned directly into Sebastian’s arms. “Did you see Tyler at the door?”

“Yeah, I saw him.” Unlike how he shooed away Chris, Sebastian chose to ignore Tyler. The more indifferent he was to the Hart family, the more they suffered.

After all, the Hart family had lost everything they possibly could. With the cold weather, Tyler stood outside, practically freezing his socks off.

Stephanie snuggled against Sebastian. “Once we return to Fiorenza, I never want to come back to Long Harbor again.”

“Upset?” Sebastian pinched her ear.

Stephanie replied, “Not upset, just disgusted.” Though she’d experienced all sorts of scenes in Fiorenza, the character of the Hart family revealed an entirely new low to her.

“Disgusted?” Sebastian asked.

“Yeah.” Stephanie thought to herself. The people of the Hart family were truly disgusting, something she had never encountered when she was with the Giovanni family. Initially, she wasn’t too bothered by Olivia treating her that way. They could stay away; no need to interact.

It wasn’t until they discovered Stephanie’s true identity that Catlin’s demeanor changed. They tried to latch onto the perks of the Giovanni family behind Stephanie. When that didn’t work, they showed their true colors. People like that were truly unbelievable.

Listening to Stephanie’s opinion of the Hart family, Sebastian chuckled and lifted her chin, stealing a kiss. Stephanie thought, ‘Seriously, is he kissing me again?’ He only didn’t sleep with me for one night, and that was because he was tipsy. Wait, even when he’s drunk, he’s no better.’ After a while, Sebastian finally let her go. “When Macro gets back, have him check on this,” he said, still worried about her poor appetite.
