Chapter 483
Stephanie picked one up and tasted it. She had to admit, it was delicious. โMmm, so tasty,โ she said, truly enjoying it.
When Sebastian walked in, he saw Stephanie looking completely satisfied with what she was eating. Her round cheeks added a special kind of cuteness.
Stephanieโs cheeks were full, and she quickly said, โSebastian, this tastes amazing! Where did you get it?โ She had stayed in Long Harbor for so long and never knew there was such delicious pastry here.
Sebastian said, โIf you like it, Iโll let Elliot drive over later and buy more for you to bring to Fiorenza.โ
Hearing this, Stephanieโs eyes lit up. โAre we going back today?โ
Sebastian nodded. โYeah, our flight is tonight.โ
Hearing they were leaving tonight, Stephanie smiled happily. Since Sebastian said so, it seemed like there would be no surprises about going home. She was worried that if they didnโt leave soon, Ella might worry about her.
Lorenzo shouldnโt do something like this, scaring Ella like that. Stephanie remembered something. โLooks like Richard and Sofia have already gone back to Fiorenza.โ
Stephanie was going to tell Sebastian about this last night, but he came back drunk. And by the time she got up this morning, Sebastian was already gone.
Sebastian raised his eyebrows. โDid they call you?โ
โYeah,โ Stephanie nodded. Not only did they call, but Richard was unbelievably arrogant on the phone.
Stephanie glanced at Sebastian. โIsnโt Sofia in Sandara?โ She thought, โIsnโt Dan there too? Normally, Sofia wouldnโt come back to Fiorenza so soon. But she did.โ
Sebastian pulled her into his arms to sit down and gave her a piece of cake.
Stephanie shook her head. โNo thanks, Iโm already full.โ
โEating so little these days?โ Sebastian asked.
Stephanie was stunned by Sebastianโs remark. She thought, โYeah, why am I eating so little now? Iโm not used to this. Before, I would have eaten everything, but now, Iโve had less than a third.โ
Stephanie shook her head. โNot sure whatโs been going on lately, but I canโt eat much.โ She realized she hadnโt had any midnight snacks for days. Before, if she skipped a midnight snack, sheโd be starving. She thought, โWhen did my appetite shrink like this?โ
Sebastian asked, โHas Allison checked on you?โ
Stephanie shook her head. โNo, she had something come up and left before coming in.โ Allison had been pretty busy lately. โWhy are you back so early?โ Stephanie asked. She had just finished calling him a moment ago, and here he was already. Sebastian said, โOnce things were done, I came back.โ He didnโt mention knowing Jackson was here. Stephanie nodded, feeling a bit weak. She leaned directly into Sebastianโs arms. โDid you see Tyler at the door?โ
โYeah, I saw him.โ Unlike how he shooed away Chris, Sebastian chose to ignore Tyler. The more indifferent he was to the Hart family, the more they suffered.
Chapter 483
After all, the Hart family had lost everything they possibly could. With the cold weather, Tyler stood outside, practically freezing his socks off.
Stephanie snuggled against Sebastian. โOnce we return to Fiorenza, I never want to come back to Long Harbor again.โ
โUpset?โ Sebastian pinched her ear.
Stephanie replied, โNot upset, just disgusted.โ Though sheโd experienced all sorts of scenes in Fiorenza, the character of the Hart family revealed an entirely new low to her.
โDisgusted?โ Sebastian asked.
โYeah.โ Stephanie thought to herself. The people of the Hart family were truly disgusting, something she had never encountered when she was with the Giovanni family. Initially, she wasnโt too bothered by Olivia treating her that way. They could stay away; no need to interact.
It wasnโt until they discovered Stephanieโs true identity that Catlinโs demeanor changed. They tried to latch onto the perks of the Giovanni family behind Stephanie. When that didnโt work, they showed their true colors. People like that were truly unbelievable.
Listening to Stephanieโs opinion of the Hart family, Sebastian chuckled and lifted her chin, stealing a kiss. Stephanie thought, โSeriously, is he kissing me again?โ He only didnโt sleep with me for one night, and that was because he was tipsy. Wait, even when heโs drunk, heโs no better.โ After a while, Sebastian finally let her go. โWhen Macro gets back, have him check on this,โ he said, still worried about her poor appetite.
