Roseanne, who believed she had Julian's love, was abandoned by him without a word. No one considered Roseanne's feelings in that moment.

After Rosalie was taken to Westfield Medical Center, she was admitted directly to the emergency room. Fortunately, she wasn't seriously ill; a high fever resulted from drinking wine and prolonged exposure to the cold lobby wind.

Julian felt relieved upon learning this. Anya and Kaleb also breathed sighs of relief. Anya glanced at Julian, whose expression had softened slightly. She gently tugged Kaleb's jacket, then winked at Julian.

“Julian, we have other matters to attend to, so we'll leave now. Rosalie hasn't woken yet, so I'll leave her in your care.”

“Mm-hmm.” Julian responded in a low voice, seemingly unconcerned.

Thinking of Julian's past treatment of his wife, Anya felt uneasy. She cautioned him, “Since you took her from Eden, you should care for her properly. If you dare abandon Rosalie, you'll regret it.”

Rosalie's flushed face occupied Julian's thoughts; he didn't reply. Anya attempted to speak further, but Kaleb interrupted, “Let's go, leave it to Julian. Don't worry, he'll take good care of Rosalie.”
