Dr. Everhart is to mysterious, makes me wonder if he’s hiding something unsavory?  Lucian always had his reservations about the school doctor  On their way here, Lucian had realized that the whole situation must have been orchestrated by the doctor himself.  if Lemira hadn’t fixed the firewall issue, their project would have likely been aved it seemed intentional on the doctor’s part.  Orion leaned back in his chair, resting an arm on the table, his wrist peeking out. Girls need to be more cautious these days to avoid being duped.”  Lucian’s concern was genuine, given the doctor’s murky background.  Lemira only felt embarrassed, “But we’re just friends, and your questioning is making things awkward. Have you thought about how this makes me feel?”  Lucian calmed down, “Alright, if it upsets you, I’ll stop asking.”  Lemira lost her appetite.  Thaddeus tried to lighten the mood, “Let’s eat, come on. Orion was there, phone in one hand, scrolling through something.  Lemira saw his profile, half of which was hidden in the shadow; she approached him, “I didn’t expect you back today.”  “I just wrapped things up.”  Orion pocketed his phone, focusing on her, “Why were you at Lucian’s company? You never mentioned it.”  “I was involved in the project, and indeed, the firewall was my responsibility. Lucian’s secretary reached out for help. He’s been good to me in the past, and I didn’t want to see him struggle.”  Indeed, it was Hogan’s goodwill that had prompted her to assist.  1/1
