Chapter 300

Amber nodded. โ€œOkay then, Sienna. But when I get back, you have to come pick me up, promise?โ€

โ€œOf course,โ€ Sienna said softly, reaching out to gently pat her head.

Tomorrow was Albertโ€™s birthday, and Sienna was planning to bring Vivian and Winifred with her.

Winifred saw that Vivian had already changed into her dress, so she looked at the black one in front of her and decided to put it on, too; she didnโ€™t want to look out of place.

โ€œAre you guys ready?โ€ Sienna walked out in a vintage lavender dress, looking like an angel straight out of a painting, beautiful but not gaudy.

Vivianโ€™s sky-blue dress made her look like a mysterious princess from the deep sea, elegant and gentle, perfectly matching her style.

Winifred, on the other hand, was dressed in inky black. The deep, oppressive color fit her aura perfectly. There was a brooding, ruthless edge in her eyes, and her long hair flowed down her back, merging seamlessly with the black dress.

โ€œGreat,โ€ Sienna smiled gently. โ€œItโ€™s beautiful. Winifred, do you like it?โ€

Winifred nodded. โ€œI do. Did you design this dress?โ€ She could tell at a glance that it matched her tastes perfectly, and the faint little flowers on the hem gave it a playful vibe.

โ€œYes, I just gave a few suggestions. As long as you like it, thatโ€™s what matters,โ€ Sienna replied.

Vivian gazed at her reflection in the mirror. The diamonds on her dress looked exquisitely set and substantial, yet the whole dress felt light as air. It was obvious this was a custom pieceโ€“and definitely not cheap.

โ€œItโ€™s Grandpaโ€™s birthday today, so you should all look your absolute best,โ€ Sienna said.

Winifred didnโ€™t really remember much about the Bayer family, but if Sienna called him Grandpa, then so be it.

โ€œLetโ€™s go,โ€ Sienna said.

The three of them were without a doubt the biggest highlight of the Bayer familyโ€™s birthday party. If it werenโ€™t for people holding the crowd back, everyone wouldโ€™ve been scrambling to get close to Sienna, putting on their best smiles and trying to get noticed.

โ€œHappy birthday, Grandpa,โ€ Sienna said first, then presented her gift, a box made of wood.

When she opened it, there was a scroll inside.

Sienna, dressed in her elegant dress, wore a gentle smile that radiated respect for the elder.

โ€œOh my god, isnโ€™t that the super expensive painting?โ€

โ€œWow, that must be worth at least 1.5 or 2 million. Miss Enna is truly so filial.โ€

โ€œThe price doesnโ€™t matter. What really counts is that this is a long-lost treasure, a once-in-a-lifetime find.โ€

โ€œHappy birthday, Grandpa,โ€ Vivian said, her smile dazzling.

Then she presented her gift, a double-sided embroidered decoration featuring Albertโ€™s portrayal, wishing him a long and healthy life.

โ€œHappy birthday, Grandpa,โ€ Winifred said with a gentle smile. Her gift was a single, fist-sized luminous pearl that glowed like a tiny moon.

โ€œThanks, girls. Just having you all here is the best present I could ever get,โ€ Albert said, his eyes brimming with happiness.

Sitting there in his suit, the gray-haired patriarch looked especially spirited, his face full of excitement.

Beside him sat his wife, her sharp eyes filled with loving care, still full of energy and life.

โ€œYouโ€™re all such good girls. Come here, let me have a look at you,โ€ she said with a warm smile.

The two elders were absolutely delighted to see the three of them. When they heard Amber couldnโ€™t make it because of her SATs, they looked a little disappointed.

โ€œCome, this is a little welcome gift from me,โ€ she said. Marie took an emerald necklace out of the box and waved for Sienna to come over.

Sienna bent down, and Marie gently placed the gleaming, top-grade emerald necklace, worth over 30 million dollars, around her neck.

The necklace set off Siennaโ€™s dress perfectly, making her skin look almost luminous.

Vivian and Winifred each got an emerald bracelet. Everyone knew that even though the Bayer family had seen better days, they were real-deal royal nobility. Everyone was jealous, seeing three such priceless gifts handed out.

Meanwhile, Josef was shoveling cake into his mouth. He was clearly jealous, but there was no way he could resist the lure of sweets; heโ€™d had a sweet tooth ever since he was a kid.

Back in middle school, Josef had been overweight, so the family nutritionist and his relatives kept him on a super strict diet, practically starving him.

โ€œHey Mr. Bayer, hey Mrs. Bayer,โ€ a cheerful male voice called out.
