Chapter 593:

Caden leaned back, his tone languid and mocking. "A grown man can't handle a little discomfort, yet wants to play home-wrecker?"

The driver glanced back, confusion etched on his face. Blake’s lips twitched. "Caden, you shameless jerk! How dare you call me a home-wrecker? What about you? Let's not forget how you got Alicia!"

Caden snorted, unfazed. He simply liked his sister-in-law. Was that so shocking? She was the only one he wanted, and that was all that mattered.

He glanced at the GPS and instructed the driver, "Take the mountain road. I want to enjoy the scenery." The driver nodded and obeyed.

The mountain road was steep and winding, and despite the driver's skill, the ride was bumpy. Blake was tossed around in the backseat, colliding repeatedly with the car's interior. "Caden, you… damn you! Fuck… fuck you! Ouch!"

Caden smiled faintly. "You'll never have a chance, because I'm not into guys, though I know I'm charming."

Finally, they reached a smoother stretch of road, affording Blake some relief, although his face was already bruised and battered. Panting heavily, he cursed under his breath, "Screw you, Caden Ward!"

Meanwhile, at Joy Mansion, Ciara scolded Benedict. She had just learned he'd argued with Alicia, nearly coming to blows. "You're lucky Caden is your nephew. Otherwise, you'd have been tossed into the sea by now."

In the side hall, Ciara lowered her voice, her frustration palpable. "Even though you're his uncle, you shouldn't meddle so much!"

But Benedict felt no guilt. He crossed his arms defiantly. "I'm just looking out for Caden."

Exasperated by his stubbornness, Ciara raised her cane and struck him. Benedict, unable to bear it any longer, stormed out of the side hall, only to encounter Alicia in the kitchen. She was carrying a tray of freshly baked pastries when they collided.

Benedict cleared his throat awkwardly. "Have you ever studied robotics chip research?"
