Chapter 581

โ€œMr. Moore, that hunchbacked old man looks like heโ€™s reached the level of a senior grandmaster,โ€ one of the Hidden Dragons experts whispered.

โ€œNo, not just senior grandmasterโ€”heโ€™s probably at the peak, capable of taking lives with a mere flick of his finger!โ€

โ€œHah, Moonlit Apothecary is in big trouble now. Iโ€™ve been saying that Andrew canโ€™t go around making enemies without someone eventually coming to settle the score.โ€

The Hidden Dragons experts exchanged smug glances, their eyes gleaming with schadenfreude. Finley sneered, his jaw tightening. โ€œJust wait. Today, not only will Moonlit Apothecary be wrecked, but that loser Andrew will probably be lucky to survive this.โ€

Finley sensed the overwhelming danger emanating from Gordon. Although he could not pinpoint who the man was, his instincts screamed that Gordon was not someone to provoke.

If Finley had been in Andrewโ€™s shoes, he would have run without a second thought.

Natashaโ€™s voice sliced through the tension. โ€œAspen, take your Stevens family and get the hell out of here! This isnโ€™t your playground.โ€

Aspen scoffed. โ€œMadam Vostokoff, youโ€™re not on my list today. If youโ€™re smart, youโ€™ll stay out of this. I donโ€™t want any unnecessary casualties.โ€

Natashaโ€™s eyes narrowed dangerously. โ€œGo ahead, try it. My men from West End are all here. Weโ€™ll gladly let you have your funโ€“for however long you can last.โ€

Aspenโ€™s face darkened. She had not anticipated that the underground groups would turn out in full force for Moonlit Apothecaryโ€™s opening.

Nearby, Dylan crossed his arms, flanked by South City enforcers. โ€œAspen, youโ€™re just a loudmouthed clown from Bridgefields. You think you can come to Jayrodale and bark orders?โ€

Aspenโ€™s lips curled into a sinister smile. โ€œDylan, do you really think Iโ€™m afraid of you?โ€

Dylan chuckled coldly. โ€œAfraid or not, we can test that right now. You brought your muscle, didnโ€™t you? Well, if you cause trouble here, Iโ€™ll personally make sure youโ€™re carried out in pieces.โ€

At the VIP section, Marvin shook his head. โ€œSo someone really did come to make trouble. Seems even being Jayrodaleโ€™s wealthiest man doesnโ€™t mean much these days.โ€

Mark leaned in. โ€œMr. Yates, letโ€™s not rush. Letโ€™s watch and see what Aspen does. The Stevens family from Bridgefields is no small player. Itโ€™d be wise to tread carefully.โ€

Marvin gave a cold smile. โ€œFine. But if she doesnโ€™t back down, the Stevens family might be fishing for her body in the river by tomorrow.โ€

Tiana chuckled. โ€œOh, Mr. Yates, since when did you lose your composure? Donโ€™t tell me youโ€™re getting worked up over someone harassing Andrew?โ€

She smirked slyly, clearly enjoying the tension. This was exactly what she had been waiting for. Andrew and his medical center had basked in enough glory today. It was about time someone knocked him down a peg.

At that moment, Andrew appeared with Lauren and Francesca. Aspenโ€™s cold gaze locked onto him as she sneered. โ€ There you are, Andrew. I thought youโ€™d keep hiding like a coward.โ€

Andrew met her gaze, his voice calm. โ€œAspen, I donโ€™t recall inviting you. So what are you doing here?โ€

He glanced at her entourage and added dryly, โ€œBy the way, crashing my banquet without an invitation costs five million.โ€

Aspen froze for a second before growling, โ€œYouโ€™ve got some nerve. Deathโ€™s knocking at your door, and youโ€™re still spouting nonsense. Youโ€™ve got guts, Iโ€™ll give you that.โ€

In the corner, Finley could not help but laugh under his breath. He thought Andrew was a fool for still joking around when he should be planning his escape.
