Chapter 278

โ€œHow dare you insult Madam Vostokoff! Are you asking for death?โ€ West Endโ€™s enforcers erupted in anger. โ€œIn all these years, no one has dared disrespect our leader on our turf!โ€

Many had witnessed Natashaโ€™s ruthless cunning firsthand. This young upstartโ€™s open mockery of her intelligenceโ€”right to her faceโ€”suggested a death wish.

Atlas and Finley barely concealed their glee.

โ€œDylan, is this your way of hastening South Cityโ€™s demise?โ€ Finley taunted, smirking. โ€œAndrew, I know youโ€™re trying to gain Madam Vostokoffโ€™s attention, but this thorny rose is far beyond your reach. Youโ€™ll leave here in pieces!โ€

โ€œMr. Garner, heโ€™s your man,โ€ Natasha snapped. โ€œFor old timesโ€™ sake, Iโ€™ll give you one chance to explain. Otherwise, none of you will leave West Endโ€™s headquarters alive.โ€

โ€œMadam Vostokoff, Mr. Lloyd can be quite direct, but let me explainโ€”โ€ Dylan began, smiling awkwardly.

โ€œExplain? No need,โ€ Andrew interrupted, still smiling. โ€œMadam Vostokoff, Iโ€™ll say it againโ€”youโ€™re a fool, being played for entertainment, and you donโ€™t even realize it.โ€

Natashaโ€™s men were enraged. Soon, heavy footsteps echoed outside the conference room. Dozens of West End thugs, armed with machetes, batons, and knives, flooded in, completely surrounding them.

โ€œNow you know why they call me the Black Widow,โ€ Natasha said coldly, looking down at Andrew. โ€œEveryone whoโ€™s dared challenge me is dead. Iโ€™ve seen too many young hotheads like you who think theyโ€™re untouchable because of their backing.โ€

Dylan pleaded, โ€œMadam Vostokoff, letโ€™s talk this through. Mr. Lloyd came to negotiate, not fight. Using force violates the meetingโ€™s rules.โ€

โ€œIโ€™ve been more than patient!โ€ Natasha exploded. โ€œDid you not hear how this boy was asking for death? My reputation isnโ€™t just for show!โ€

โ€œMadam Vostokoff, I suggest cutting out his tongue first,โ€ Finley chimed in gleefully. โ€œThen break his limbs piece by piece. After he dies from torture, hang his body at West Endโ€™s entrance as a warning.โ€

โ€œAny last words?โ€ Natasha asked icily.

Andrewโ€™s expression turned cold. He calmly stated, โ€œYouโ€™re proving my point about being a fool. Letโ€™s ignore, for now, whether your men can even touch me.โ€
