Chapter 277

โ€œFinley and Atlas cannot be trusted,โ€ Dylan warned. โ€œIf you believe their lies, once they destroy South City, West End will not be spared.โ€

โ€œOh? What makes you say that?โ€ Natasha asked with a smile. โ€œAre you suggesting Northern District plans to take over West End as well?โ€

Before Dylan could respond, Atlas interjected, โ€œDylanโ€™s just a bruteโ€”donโ€™t take his words seriously. Northern District and West End have always maintained peaceful relations, and even if we wanted your territory, we wouldnโ€™t have the strength after dealing with South City. That would be suicide!โ€

โ€œMr. Giordano is right,โ€ Finley added smoothly. โ€œIn fact, West End stands to gain the most from this. Weโ€™re pursuing this vendetta against South City only because Dylan treacherously killed Mr. Giordanoโ€™s lieutenant. Such a betrayal demands justice.โ€

Their coordinated presentation seemed to sway Natasha; her lieutenants nodded approvingly.

โ€œMadam, we should stay neutral and let them fight it out,โ€ one whispered.

โ€œWeโ€™ll be the real winners,โ€ another added. โ€œMr. Giordano wants revenge, and clearly, Mr. Moore has a score to settle with Andrew. No matter who wins, West End benefits.โ€

As Natasha prepared to announce her decision, Dylanโ€™s face darkened, realizing she had fallen for Northern Districtโ€™s scheme. Finley and Atlas exchanged knowing glances, barely concealing their glee.

โ€œAndrew, your support of South City means nothing,โ€ Finley gloated. โ€œYouโ€™re a nobody, and South City will fall regardless of what you do.โ€

In the midst of their celebration, Andrew began clapping slowly.

โ€œMr. Lloyd, do you have something to add?โ€ Natasha frowned, withholding her statement.

โ€œHeโ€™s probably just impressed by our alliance,โ€ Finley smirked.

Atlas laughed. โ€œAndrew, youโ€™re quite capable. Why not leave Dylan and join us? You might not reach Mr. Mooreโ€™s status, but you could easily become a lieutenant in Northern District.โ€

Andrew chuckled. โ€œNorthern District is too small and crawling with losers. Iโ€™m not interested. And regarding Madam Vostokoffโ€™s question, Iโ€™m simply amazed at how easily someone can be played for a fool and still seem happy about it.โ€

Natashaโ€™s expression turned icy. โ€œMr. Garner, your friend seems to have a death wish, speaking so boldly in my territory. Perhaps he doesnโ€™t plan on leaving West End tonight?โ€

Dylan tensed, internally cursing. He couldnโ€™t understand why Andrew would antagonize Natasha at this crucial moment, when she was obviously leaning toward Atlasโ€™s side. It was like adding fuel to the fire.
