Chapter 760: Chatting with the Nanny

Theodore abruptly set down his fork, his appetite waning. The servant inquired, "Master Theodore, are you certain you don't wish for more? You haven't eaten much."

"No," Theodore refused. His desire now overshadowed his hunger. The servant, naturally, remained oblivious to his thoughts, even contemplating rabbit dishes for a future meal.

Theodore, in turn, was unaware of the servant's musings.

Little Bunny continued playing with the baby. Noticing Theodore's approach, she quickly turned, asking, "Master Theodore, have you finished?" She assumed he had devoured his dinner.

"No, I haven't," he replied frankly.

"Is something wrong?" she asked, surprised.

"You tell me," Theodore raised an eyebrow.

She soon understood his desireโ€”Theodore's reputation for insatiable lust preceded him. He wanted sex.

Little Bunny stood, handing the baby to the nanny. The baby, accustomed to the nanny's care, seemed content. Little Bunny envisioned a return to her career; extended absences from work were inevitable, and the nanny provided reliable childcare. The baby even smiled in the nanny's arms. Little Bunny then followed Theodore upstairs, feeling a reluctance she couldn't overcome.

Once inside, Theodore began undressing. Despite their previous encounters, she found the act repulsive. His muscular physique, undeniably attractive to most women, failed to ignite her desire due to a lack of affection. This explained her revulsion.

"I think I should take a showerโ€ฆ I was sweating playing with the babyโ€ฆ"

Before she could finish, he restrained her, pinning her to the bed. His dominance in these matters was well-known.

She recalled her acting days; Theodore's reputation was mixed. While considered a superior alternative to older, wealthier suitors, some women described him as brutish, complaining of genital pain lasting days. She had vowed never to sleep with someone she didn't love, yet here she was.

She struggled to stifle cries of pain; his intensity was overwhelming, reminding her of the days it took to recover from their last encounter. This time, genuine concern for her well-being arose.

Hours later, he seemed satisfied. Late into the night, refreshed after a shower, Little Bunny struggled to rise, remembering her son's need for feeding. The nanny's absence, she reasoned, stemmed from a reluctance to interrupt them.

She dressed and left the bed, pain surging through her body. Teetering from the room, she made her way to another bathroom, then to the nursery.

The nanny was singing a lullaby; the baby, still awake, sobbed, sucking his pacifier.

Seeing Little Bunny, the nanny exclaimed, "Thank goodness, Madam, you're finally here. The baby is starving. It's time to feed him."

"Okay," Little Bunny sat on a sofa.

The nanny handed over the baby. Driven by hunger, the baby bit hard, eliciting a hiss of pain from Little Bunny.

"Does he bite you?" the nanny asked, aware of both the baby's strength and Little Bunny's recent ordeal. She wisely remained silent about her suspicions.

"Master Theodore hasn't seen you in a while," the nanny subtly hinted.

She and Little Bunny enjoyed a cordial relationship. Despite her title as Mrs. Wold, Little Bunny remained humble and approachable, prompting the nanny to engage in casual conversation.

"Yeah," Little Bunny nodded. Privately, she wished for his absence to be permanent.

"A short separation can rekindle a relationship," the nanny suggested.

Little Bunny, however, viewed herself as merely a vessel for Theodore's lust.

"He's been good to you," the nanny added.

Little Bunny found this absurd. While acknowledging the Wolds' kindness, she still found Theodore repulsive.

"Madamโ€ฆ"

"Kyla," Little Bunny interrupted, wanting to avoid further discussion of Theodore.

"Yes?"

"I'm hungry. Could you ask them to prepare something for me?" she explained, needing nourishment after breastfeeding, though she remained remarkably slender.

"It must be exhausting managing both baby and husband," the nanny teased.

Little Bunny sighed, acknowledging the utter exhaustion. As the nanny departed, she looked at her son nursing.

"Don't be like your dad when you grow up, okay?" she whispered.

"Why?" Theodore's voice startled her; he had overheard her complaint.

"Don't be like me, how?" he asked, observing her breastfeeding. A hint of jealousy towards his son was evident. He even wondered if his son's hunger was genuine.

"I don't want him to be as busy as you. You seldom come home," she offered as an excuse.

"You feel neglected?" his voice held a note of remorse.

She didn't, actually.

"But I have important business to attend to for Oscar. I'll be home more often afterward."

She instantly regretted her words.
