Chapter 1057 Gossip

The idle gossip in the next room continued.

"You reminded me, I made a mistake in one of my lines today and took an extra shot. Do you think she'll notice?"

"I don't think so..."

"By the way,"

"What's the matter?"

"Do you remember? During the award ceremony, Valerie Criss came onstage with her and stole a line..."

"Now Valerie's banned!" exclaimed the other woman.

Little Bunny pursed her lips. Valerie Criss had intentionally stolen her lines, and it even briefly trended online. However, the trending topic wasn't initiated by Little Bunny, but by Valerie herself, seeking publicity. She hadn't anticipated that her agency would ban her shortly afterward.

This had nothing to do with Little Bunny. Valerie's ban stemmed from her undisclosed romantic relationship, a violation of her agency's rules for members of the girl group. The agency suppressed the news, so few knew the truth.

Outsiders, however, blamed Little Bunny. Tanya was about to defend her, but Little Bunny stopped her. She wanted to avoid further conflict and the risk of being blamed again if the gossiping women learned they'd overheard.

She remained silent until they were called for filming.

"Miss Little Bunny, how could you endure this so patiently?" Tanya protested. "They're framing you!"

"Forget it. False rumors don't stick, right?" Little Bunny replied indifferently.

"But..."

"Help me remove my makeup, Tanya."

The remote location meant makeup artists were overburdened, so actors' assistants usually handled makeup removal.

"Since you and Captain Wold are involved, you can't let this affect you, Miss Little Bunny," Tanya said indignantly as she removed Little Bunny's makeup.

"Do you think he and I are involved?" Little Bunny asked.

"Isn't it obvious?" Tanya said cautiously, sensing a connection between Theodore and Little Bunny. Theodore's actions earlier seemed like continued pursuit.

Little Bunny considered this. She might be saddled with the reputation of being supported by Theodore for life.

Suddenly, her phone rang. It was her agent.

"When did you and Theodore get together?" he asked directly.

"I said nothing's between us, do you believe me?" Little Bunny replied, looking in the mirror.

"What do you think?"

"I want nothing to do with him."

"If you're involved with him, why haven't we recovered those lost endorsements and notices?!" her agent raged, his concern solely focused on the financial impact.

"I won't have anything to do with Theodore. I won't ask him for anything," Little Bunny repeated firmly before hanging up.

She'd never argued with her agent before; he considered her one of his best artists. This rebellion made him suspect a deeper connection between her and Theodore.

Little Bunny, however, was simply annoyed.

After removing her makeup, she left the dressing room, running into Addison, who had just finished filming. They exchanged a brief glance before Addison reached for her hand.

"Little Bunny," he said softly.

Her eyes flickered.

"Are you okay?" he asked with concern.

Surprised by his concern, Little Bunny replied, "I'm fine."

"I don't know the exact nature of your relationship with Theodore, but he's not easy to deal with. Try not to get too involved."

She nodded slowly. Addison smiled, revealing his neat white teeth. Little Bunny finally understood why his fans adored him.

"Don't worry," Addison said. "As actors, we focus on filming well."

His simple words warmed her.

"Thank you, Addison."

"Silly girl," Addison laughed. "We're friends. Go rest early. See you tomorrow."

"See you tomorrow."

Addison left. Little Bunny watched him go before departing herself.

"Addison is so nice, handsome, talented, and warm-hearted!" Tanya exclaimed excitedly. "I think I'm becoming a fan!"

Little Bunny listened silently.

"When rumors of you and Addison dating surfaced, how many people shipped you two?" Tanya asked regretfully.

Tanya's words reminded Little Bunny that Theodore's presence seemed to eliminate any other romantic rumors.

Little Bunny and Tanya returned to their inn, provided by the production crew. An awkwardness surrounded Little Bunny. Entering their room, they found someone cleaning.

"The director arranged Caroline's cameo for tomorrow, and there are no other rooms. He said you won't be staying, so I'm clearing your room. Are you coming back for anything?" a staff member explained.

"What do you mean we're not staying here?!" Tanya exclaimed angrily.

"The director said Miss Little Bunny will be staying at Mr. Wold's tonight, so I was asked to clean your room," the staff member stammered nervously.
