Chapter 103

Jennifer said, “Natalie! Are you just trying to lash out at me? Even if you insult me every day, you can’t change the fact that Easton loves me. Did you see the pictures I sent you? He cares for me every day, and with you, he hasn’t even touched a finger."

Jennifer knew exactly how to strike Natalie where it hurt, because Natalie truly loved Easton.

Natalie’s face suddenly turned pale; she pressed her lips together slightly, then curved them into a cold, defiant smile as her eyes brushed past Jennifer’s arrogant face.

She said, "Jennifer, you know what? I’m thankful he never touched me because you’re so filthy. If he touched you and then me, I’d probably be sick for life. It’s just disgusting.”

Jennifer’s pupils trembled for a moment as she stared blankly at the outspoken Natalie. She thought, “What does she mean by that?”

Their gazes were intensely intertwined; Jennifer’s eyes were burning with anger, while Natalie’s were icy cold.

“Natalie, are you asking for trouble?” Jennifer’s eyes were filled with murderous intent. She thought, ‘Does she know something?’

Natalie said, "Jennifer, when that jerk got into a car accident years ago, ended up with crippled legs and lost his sight, you got scared. You didn’t want to take care of a disabled person, so you ran off with another man. You even left him a note blaming his mom and me for forcing you away. You aren’t the real daughter of the Simpson family—I am. You shouldn’t have tried to take the man who was rightfully mine. How thoughtful of you."

“To appear like a martyr and maintain control, you prepared a backup plan by framing his mom, having her committed to a mental institution as if she were insane. Do you think if Easton were to investigate these things, he wouldn’t uncover the truth?"

“Even if you hide it well now, what about a year or two from now? Can you keep it hidden forever? You can’t, because your ambition knows no limits.” Natalie’s smile was cold, and it made Jennifer a bit scared. Natalie seemed to know a lot of things.

Suddenly, Jennifer realized it was unlikely Natalie would know these things. Even her parents and brothers didn’t know. Arrogance danced in her eyes.

But, unfortunately, there were no spectators, and the mall was almost empty.

Natalie laughed, her smile sweet but still with her natural boldness. “Why would I blame you? I should be thanking you for coming back, right? If you didn’t come back, it wouldn’t be fun. Don’t you want to have some fun? I’m up for anything you want to do."

“Oh, by the way, I’m afraid Zach might never get out again in this life. But if he does, the first person he’ll look for is you. I think Jason just wanted to teach me a lesson, but your reason was simple—to have him call Jason in front of me, trying to cause a rift between us."

“You didn’t need to do that; it only revealed your presence. I’ve already cut ties with them a long time ago, so what you did was unnecessary."

“Zach was always the one helping you set me up, making it impossible for both the Simpson family and Easton to find any clues. He was your most loyal follower, and now he’s been caught. You still have Jasmine by your side. Hopefully, the next time you try to set me up, Jasmine will be as clever as she was six months ago."

“I also hope she’ll be smarter than the last few times, and that way Easton will completely divorce me. You can marry into the Garcia family and fully pursue your ambitions. I’ll be watching as you send them to hell one by one." With someone helping her, she was glad to take it easy.

Jennifer took a sudden step back, her face pale, tears glistening in her eyes. The malice in her heart surged like wild ocean waves. She wanted to kill Natalie, wanted to kill her right now.

The confident expression on her face made Jennifer panic for no reason. She thought, “Natalie has really changed, she‘s become difficult to deal with. What exactly does Natalie know?”

Looking at her teary eyes, Natalie held her hand and said, “Silly, I’ve always been strong. I didn’t argue much before because I considered them family, even a husband. But you know, patience does run out."

Valerie smiled happily and said. “That’s great. Now that I see you can stand up for yourself, I can return to the astrology agency without worrying about you.”

Natalie chuckled, took her card back from the cashier, and said with a smile, “Let’s go.”

Valerie shot Jennifer a fierce glare. She thought, "That woman sure is lucky! But she’s so wicked. Her ending is pretty scary and destined to be among the dead, how can I hold a grudge against them?"

Seeing through the secret without revealing it, that’s the mystery of fate. Valerie gave a strange look at Jasmine’s belly.

Feeling uneasy by her stare, Jasmine placed her hands over her stomach protectively and angrily asked, “Why are you staring at my belly? I’m pregnant, don’t you dare touch my baby!”

Valerie sneered, “You’ve done a lot of wrong. Do more good deeds and stop adding to your sins."

Jasmine was speechless.

“You’re not going anywhere." Jennifer suddenly blocked Natalie’s path.

Natalie frowned and asked, “What do you want now?”

Jennifer waved the card in her hand smugly, saying, “Natalie, I want you to stay and watch me spend Easton’s money.”

Natalie was speechless and said, “Did a donkey kick you in the head? Is spending your lover’s money really something to be proud of? Should I set up a livestream so everyone can see how brazen you are?”

“You…” Jennifer was so furious she stomped her foot. She thought, ‘How did this woman become so sharp-tongued? “Natalie, I think you’re just jealous of me.” Jennifer laughed arrogantly, feeling triumphant. She thought, ‘Easton, that fool, as long as I act cute, he’ll give me some pocket money.’

Natalie said, “Sure, go ahead and spend it. I’ll just sit here and watch how shameless you can be.”

Jennifer flashed a proud smile and said. “Jasmine, you’re pregnant with the Simpson family’s child. These clothes are all gifts from me to you.”

Jennifer looked at the sales clerk with an air of grandeur. “Please get one L size of every style of clothing here.”

Hearing this, the sales clerk smiled brightly, “Sure, miss, please wait a moment.”

Valerie helped Natalie sit down beside her and watch. She smiled and asked, “Is this your man’s money…”

“Stop, Valerie, don’t say that. It’s Jennifer’s man, not mine,” Natalie said and thought, "In this lifetime, I won’t be with Easton. I loved him with all my heart, so when I decided to leave, I’d forget about him completely."

She had told herself countless times that she wouldn’t be with Easton again, but Valerie just never believed her.

Valerie looked at her deeply and asked, “Really?”
