Chapter 80 Only for You
Going after someone better was everyoneโs right. Besides, in Andyโs opinion, Jude was a solid match for Tilda.
If it had been some random nobody, maybe Andy wouldโve stepped in and locked Tilda down for himself.
โQuit with that nonsense. Weโre not in the kind of relationship youโre imagining,โ Tilda rolled her eyes at him.
Andy smirked slyly. โOh? So youโre saying thereโs still hope for me?โ
โIโll take that as a bad joke. Drink up and stop talking.โ Feelings? Theyโd only slow down her plans.
Tilda and Andy kept chatting and drinking for about half an hour. Their table was filled with laughter and jokes, clearly forgetting about Jude.
Meanwhile, Alfie and Maurice looked like they wanted to cry. Sure, theyโd shown up for the drama, but Judeโs bitterness and jealousy were so heavy that it killed all the fun.
Andyโs green eyes flickered. He leaned over, told Tilda he needed to go to the restroom, and got up. Jude hesitated, then followed him.
When he walked past Tilda, she asked, โWhere are you going?โ
โRestroom.โ Jude was endlessly patient with Tilda.
She was speechless.
Nightingale Bar, menโs restroom. Andy was already leaning against the wall when Jude came in. He crossed his arms, his green eyes glowing with amusement.
โWell, well, Mr. Bell. Fancy running into you so soon. What a coincidence.โ
โNot really. I came here for you.โ
โMmm, I figured. While I was drinking with Tilda, I kept feeling a death glare on me. Especially when we laughed, your eyes practically screamed you wanted me full of holes. It was so scary.โ His smooth, slightly androgynous voice didnโt sound weirdโit was seductive. No wonder people called him the vampire of the courtroom, who won with his looks.
โI wonโt deny it.โ Jude was always Judeโthe king of Slosaโs business world. He didnโt even try to hide how possessive he was.
โMmm, looks like youโve got a thing for Tilda, too. And who wouldnโt? Sheโs incredible. I like her a lot. I want her," Andy drew out the last words on purpose.
He could feel the dangerous energy radiating off Jude. It made Andyโs skin crawl.
โBut Tilda rejected me right away. She said we could only ever be friends. What a shame. I never thought Iโd meet someone I couldnโt get. Guess Iโll carry that regret forever.โ
โOf course,โ Jude cut in coldly. โSheโs mine.โ His possessiveness was obvious. Right now, he looked every bit the ruthless CEO of DY Groupโa king on his throne.
Andy just shrugged. โSo why are you even talking to me? Why not just tell Tilda how you feel? You strike me as the type.โ
Jude said, โIโve got Omegaโtype blood. I know what people like me are like. And Iโve spent time with Tilda. Sheโs exactly like me deep downโproud, stubborn, hates being tied down. I know pushing her will backfire. I finally met someone like her, so Iโll wait. But I wonโt stand for anyone threatening whatโs mine.โ
โYouโre pretty spotโon. Anyway, Tilda and I are just friends. So next time weโre talking, try not to glare at me like you want me dead. Itโs killing the vibe.โ
โโฆIโll try.โ Jude couldnโt promise anything. Guys like Andy were a real threat. Seeing him laugh with Tilda stoked a sharp pang of jealousy in Jude. Heโd never felt like that before.
For the first time, he felt like that for a woman. It wasnโt just an Omegaโtype pull. He genuinely liked her and loved her. If he wasnโt worried about scaring Tilda away, heโd have already kicked guys like Andy out of her life.
โAlright, Mr. Bell, youโre pretty easy to chat with.โ Andy washed his hands and started to leave. At the door, he tossed a parting line over his shoulder. โMr. Bell, since weโve worked together before, hereโs a tip. Like is to choose; love is exclusive.โ
