Chapter 79 What a Coincidence
Before, Andy had only seen them as ridiculous, like clowns performing.
Now? He just felt sorry for them.
Theyโd thought they were untouchable, in control of everything.
But they had no idea what kind of opponent theyโd stirred up.
The real threat was hiding in the person they looked down on the most.
It almost sounded like a scene from a TV show.
โForget about them. Donโt let them ruin the vibe. Letโs just keep drinking and talking,โ Tilda said.
Tilda handled her emotions well. Sheโd already seen through the Jensonsโ act.
Not a shred of sadness crossed her.
Everything was going smoothly now.
โCome on, cheers, Tilda. Hereโs to your new life.โ
Tilda paused for a moment.
Andy had just said โnew life,โ and she nearly slipped up.
โCheers.โ
Wade and Clive had been gone for about 20 minutes.
Then, three new people walked in.
The moment they appeared, everyoneโs jaws dropped.
Were those guys even real? Could people like them exist?
They had their own vibe, and all three stood out.
Especially the one in front.
He had one hand in his pocket, his icy eyes radiating an unapproachable chill.
Yet, his face was breathtakingly handsome. He looked so striking that even the two men flanking him, normally admired by everyone, looked plain in comparison.
Tilda noticed them as well.
Jude? Maurice? Alfie?
It reminded her of the scene from Sky Dining.
Jude walked right up to her, stopped, and greeted her coolly and casually.
โWhat a coincidence.โ
Pfft!
Maurice and Alfie were barely holding back laughter.
The truth was that Jude had seen photos of Tilda and Andy at Nightingale Bar and rushed over.
But now, he acted like it was some random encounter.
It wasnโt exactly the style they would expect from a bossy CEO.
For a cold-blooded and ruthless guy like Jude, he should just scoop Tilda away and warn Andy to back off when he set his sights on her.
The two of them were just watching the drama unfold.
โYeah, real coincidence,โ Tilda said.
She knew Jude was a regular here.
Nightingale Bar belonged to Maurice, and Maurice and Jude were tight.
Sheโd bumped into Jude here before, so running into him wasnโt shocking.
Tilda hadnโt thought much of it. Still, something about it felt off.
She couldnโt quite explain itโjust a weird vibe.
Then, Judeโs eyes met Andyโs. Andy was sizing him up with those green eyes, clearly interested.
โIt has been a while, Mr. Saville.โ
โHello, Mr. Bell. Iโve heard a lot about you.โ
They greeted each other politely.
Everyone nearby gasped.
Mr. Bell? Thatโs Jude?
With that kind of presence, there was no doubt he was the one.
And Andy? Those green eyes confirmed him as Cetherlandโs top lawyer.
Most people here were just rich scions looking for fun.
But those two? Their names had been drilled into peopleโs heads by their parents.
Some quietly paid their tabs and left.
Some women couldnโt stop staring at the insanely attractive, obviously wealthy men.
They even plotted how to โaccidentallyโ spill a drink to see which one would respond.
If they succeeded, theyโd be set for life.
Friends with sense dragged them away.
Seriously? Trying to flirt with those guys? They had countless options. Pulling a stunt like that would only get someone hurt.
If one pissed them off, sheโd be blacklisted in Slosa for good.
Within minutes, all the irrelevant people on the second floor left.
Jude picked a table near Tilda and Andy and sat down.
Alfie and Maurice joined, trying not to laugh.
Tilda glanced at Andy and asked, โHow do you know Jude?โ
โHim? I met him on the dark web.
Since you know him, I guess I can explain. He was the one who asked me to find Omega-types on the dark web.โ
For people with Omega-type, once they met, they could immediately sense each otherโs scent and mark it.
It meant if someone was Omega-type and met another with the same blood type, there was no hiding.
Seeing how Tilda had greeted Jude, Andy figured theyโd already met.
โOhโฆโ Tilda sipped her wine.
โI guess Jude is pursuing you. Tilda, did you turn me down because of him?โ
Andy sounded a little jealous.
If she had rejected him because of Jude, Andy could accept it.
Heโd dealt with Jude a few times, and he was unreadable.
Even Andy couldnโt figure Jude out and felt outmatched.
