Just then, the young man serving coffee said quickly, "Grandpa, my friend just told me that the Labelle Group had been trying to acquire Lofbury's two projects but failed. However, they just signed both projects!" He glanced at Robert and hurriedly added, "Grandpa, the Labelle family will benefit most from this!"

After hearing this, Stephen grew increasingly suspicious. His gaze, fixed on Robert, was filled with hostility. He set down his coffee cup, took a deep breath, and shook his head.

The young man whispered in Stephen's ear, "Grandpa, this person looks familiar. I just remembered—he seems to be a minor internet celebrity who acted in short videos. He's a very good actor."

This dispelled Stephen's last doubts. He turned, closed his eyes, and clearly wished to ignore the matter.

The three Hoffman family members were overjoyed by Stephen's reaction.

Marlondo glared at Robert and shouted, "Tell us! What's your relationship with the Labelle family? What's your purpose?"

They intended to expel Robert.

Robert shrugged. "I'm Naomi's friend. I'm here to celebrate Mr. Hoffman's birthday."

Ignoring Marlondo and the young man, Robert addressed Stephen: "Mr. Hoffman, whether you believe it or not, I'm here to celebrate your birthday. As for the internet celebrity—"

"Enough! Get out!" Another young man interrupted, waving his hand. "We haven't time for your nonsense, brat. Don't let us see you in Lofbury again!"

They wanted Robert gone. His expulsion would ensure Stephen wouldn't see him again, protecting the Hoffman family's assets.

Seeing Stephen's indifference, Robert shook his head in disappointment. "I heard about you; I thought you were still powerful despite your age. It's a pity" He sighed and left.

As he departed, the study door opened without a knock.

Stephen, already in a foul mood and about to scold the intruder, sat bolt upright upon seeing the newcomer. His appearance was a stark contrast to the frail figure propped up by a crutch.

"Mr. Camidge!" Stephen exclaimed, his voice filled with excitement. He never expected Carlos, the Zabinski family's butler, to arrive. Even though the party was over, a Zabinski family member's visit was an honor, especially Carlos, the butler!
