Chapter 648

The call connected swiftly, as if Nathaniel had been expecting it. "Mr. Lodge, how are they? Are you satisfied with the gifts I provided?"

"Of course, I'm satisfied! Haha!" Henry laughed. "However, I'm curious, how did you obtain these things?"

"We live in a modern society where everyone is a businessman with secrets few can keep. Simply be observant, investigate, and pay attention to detail. It's easier than you think. You returned too hastily. With proper preparation, finding this information wouldn't have been difficult." Nathaniel subtly avoided revealing his sources while bolstering Henry's confidence.

Henry's face beamed. "Great! Let's be friends. Just wait until I take them down. In the future, your problems will be my problems."

Nathaniel chuckled softly, anticipating the boastful response. "Then I'll await your good news."

"Wait a minute, who else have you given this information to?" Henry suddenly remembered something and questioned again.

Nathaniel paused. "Mr. Lodge, rest assured, this information is useless to anyone but youโ€”and myself. As for what you do with it, that's entirely your decision. However, I believe no matter your actions, Justin will lose his position as head of the Lodge family."

"That's good."

After hanging up, Nathaniel stared at the computer screen, lost in thought. There was no better place to confront Justin with this knowledge than before the family elders and company shareholders. Yet, he felt this alone wasn't enough to bring Justin down.

Justin could regain the shareholders' trust and salvage his position if he could convince them of his unawareness, address the problem directly, and compensate for the losses. The most effective approach would be drastic measures. These individuals were likely long-term employees, having joined Wilfred in their youth, if he remembered correctly. Dismissing them all might prove counterproductive.

Conversely, using this information to blackmail them would effectively recruit them to his cause. Henry could fire Justin and secure the loyalty of the veteran employees if they were willing to support him. Complete control of the company would greatly benefit him once he assumed leadership.

'Justin, don't blame your Uncle Henry. All of this should be mine!'

Lily, meanwhile, remained diligently focused on her work at the La Beautรฉ Group's branch laboratory, allowing herself complete solitude. Alexander sat on the large sofa outside, surrounded by tea, snacks, and fruit. Besides Edward, everyone remained outside the lab. Though curious, no one dared discuss the situation.

No one understood why Mr. Russell had suddenly arrived at their small branch. He merely needed a laboratory; he didn't review accounts or conduct patrols, nor did he request progress reports. The branch manager stood outside, awaiting instructions.

He occasionally glanced towards the lab, unable to decipher Alexander's intentions. That woman... would she be the future Mrs. Russell, as the rumors suggested?

Alexander casually extended a hand, the other flipping through news and information on his phone. Everything was as anticipated, except they hadn't yet uncovered Henry's background. He knew an ancient family trained Henry's group, but he didn't know which one. However, something felt amiss.

Bang!

The sound wasn't loud, but everyone outside heard it.

The branch manager hesitated to inquire when he saw Mr. Russell immediately rise, open the door, and rush into the laboratory.
