Chapter 348

"Where's my phone?" she asked the three men in the room. Without it, she couldn't reply to the company's letter or call Alexander. He wouldn't know anything was wrong, but surely he'd be worried if she was unreachable? The driver tightened his lips. "I don't know."

"Huh?" She snorted, her eyes sweeping coldly over him. Lily didn't believe he was lying, so she turned to Jo, glancing at his face before squatting in front of Christopher. "Tell me. Where's my phone?" Christopher remained silent, his eyes rolling; he was unable to move or speak, effectively paralyzed.

They'd heard stories, but never witnessed such a thing. Today, they saw firsthand the power of Lily's forbidden kickboxing skills. The experience was humiliating, especially at the hands of such a small woman.

"Oh, I forgot you're still here!" Lily nodded, addressing Christopher. "Where's my phone? And my assistant's?"

Christopher grinned, exaggeratingly. "It's broken!"

"Broken?" Lily smiled back, her smile far sweeter than his.

A mournful howl erupted as Lily swiftly pierced Christopher's hand with a dagger, the blade going all the way to the palm. Blood spurted. "Is this the hand that broke my phone?" The smile remained on her face as she held the dagger. "Isn't it? Did I make a mistake? Let me try again!" She pulled out the dagger.

"Ah!" Christopher cried out in pain. "I'm going to kill you! I'm going to kill you!"

"Kill me? You'd have to be able to move first," Lily smiled coldly. "I'll ask again. Where's my phone?"

"It really is broken," Jo said, stunned by Lily's ferocity. "I was afraid of the location finder and tracking, so I smashed it on the road and threw it away. I don't know where it is now."

Lily was silent. It seemed the phone was indeed broken. Dagger dripping with blood, she walked toward Jo. "You smashed it?" Her gaze was unwavering, her beautiful face now devilish.

"Iโ€ฆ" Jo stammered, "I can get you a new one."

"A new one?" she sneered. "What about my data loss? How about you use your hands to pay for it?"

Before she finished, a car was heard downstairs. All three looked toward the door.

Lily stared at them. "Someone's here to keep you company."

They remained silent.
