Chapter 324

"Right, the perfume you asked forโ€”is it a new product? I've never heard of it," said Wesley Parker, a world-renowned perfumer. His daughter, however, knew nothing about perfumes. In Lisa's own words, she had no talent for it, nor was she interested.

Lily smiled. "Nope, it's not a new product, but an old one. So old it's extinct."

"Huh? Then isn't that a task for Goliath?"

Lisa was shocked by Lily's request.

"Hmmit's not that difficult if he tries hard enough, but" Lily smiled mysteriously. This fragrance was Roseroot's first perfume, invented a hundred years ago, and was significant to the country. It was even housed in a very exquisite bottle. The perfume was no longer available anywhere. The only two remaining bottles were displayed at a museum in Roseroot, considered priceless antiques impossible to obtain, even with immense wealth.

Lily was interested in owning it, but she also knew Mike could never obtain it. Her request was a lesson: money couldn't solve everything. She never expected to actually get Blossom.

After listening, Lisa exclaimed, "Lily, you surprise me every day! Do you know what Mike's life is like in Bryxton City? No one dares make a fool of him."

"Why would I be making a fool of him? He offered to thank me with a reward, so I told him what I wanted. It depends on his abilities. I didn't force him," Lily shrugged nonchalantly. She wasn't playing himโ€”well, maybe a little, but she hadn't forced him.

Lisa shook her head. "You may not have forced him, but knowing Mike, he'll get that perfume because he promised. If he can't fulfill his promise, he'll be a laughingstock."

"It's that bad?" Lily asked hesitantly.

"Of course! Men are prideful, especially someone like Mike. Their pride is everything!" Lisa emphasized.

"Goshmy bad for not considering that. Next time I see him, I'll tell him I've changed my mind," Lily said. It would be awkward to go to him now and say, "Hi, I was joking about the perfume. How about a few million in cash instead?"

Lisa laughed, patting Lily's shoulder. "Why haven't I known you were this funny?"

"Maybe I've hidden it well? A shame you caught on," Lily teased.

As they exited the elevator, Lily's phone vibrated. It was Giselle. A headache formed instantly.

Giselle bombarded her with questions the moment she answered: "Ms. Christian, it's late! Where are you? I've been waiting! I called and textedโ€”no reply! I was worried sick! When are you coming back? Where are you now?"

Lily checked her watch; it was late. "I'm still out, but I'll be back in a few minutes."

"All right, please return as soon as possible. It's not safe for a woman to be out at night. I'll be waiting at the hotel," Giselle said, relieved. The competition was imminent, and they needed to discuss details.
