"However, there were still minor disturbances," Austin said with a grin, gesturing. Alexander raised a curious eyebrow.

"The person responsible for the center caused quite a ruckus and should have been detained by now," Austin scratched his head. After all, he was part of the technical team and wouldn't handle such matters. "The person responsible..." Alexander seemed to realize who he meant.

It was quiet in the holding cell, the atmosphere tense. Fabian sat on the stiff bed, knees drawn to his chest. He still couldn't understand how he'd ended up here.

'What did I do wrong? How did I end up here before I could even profit from the vaccine development center?'

Initially, he'd tried to create a disturbance, but quieted when he realized their harshness and the threat of further detention. The place was cold and awful; he'd never suffered like this.

He heard voices outside, wondering if he was hallucinating. Since being locked up, he'd heard constant talking and banging. He feared he would go mad. Then, the door opened, and he heard approaching footsteps.

The footsteps stopped nearby. Hesitantly, Fabian looked up. His eyes widened at the visitor. He rubbed his eyes, ensuring he wasn't hallucinating.

Immediately, Fabian leaped from the bed, throwing himself against the steel bars. "Ron! Y-You have to help me!"

He tried to grab Cameron's clothes through the bars, but couldn't reach.

"Ron, they arrested me for no reason! I'm cold and terrified. You have to get me out! What's going on? Why are they saying the vaccine development center is dishonest? Didn't we follow the rules and regulations? They must have made a mistake," Fabian pleaded desperately. "Do they know who I am to you?! How dare they arrest me? They've shown you no respect, Ron! Ron, say something!"

Seeing Cameron silently gazing at him, Fabian realized something was wrong. He stared in disbelief. "Are you behind all this? You're not here to save me, are you?" His voice weakened, the light in his eyes dimming. He didn't want to believe it, but knew Cameron wasn't there to help.

"You're right. I'm not," Cameron said indifferently.

Fabian was utterly devastated.
