Alexander had already located the organization's hideout. Although the doctor remained valuable, Alexander no longer needed him. His primary focus was rescuing Lily and the other hostages.

"Whatever it is, thank you very much!" the doctor exclaimed, his voice thick with emotion, before turning to gaze at his home. His wife and children were happily enjoying the cake, playfully smearing cream on each other's faces. Despite their joy, the doctor knew they had undoubtedly suffered during their captivity. This family reunion, this shared moment of happiness, felt rare and precious.

"There's no need to thank us. We understand the difficulties you're facing," Edward said, patting the doctor's shoulder before extinguishing his cigarette. "Let's go!" he added, signaling their departure.

The doctor, however, hastily stopped him. "There's something... I'm not sure if your boss knows."

Edward raised an eyebrow. "What is it?"

After a moment's hesitation, the doctor said slowly, "Ms. Christian has given birth."

Edward was stunned. Isn't her due date later? he thought. I remember Lily and Liv having similar due dates. Liv hasn't given birth yet, but Lily has?! He wasn't sure if Alexander knew, but the news was a shock.

"She gave birth prematurely," the doctor confirmed. "It was a C-section, and she had twins—a boy and a girl. They're healthy and adorable."

Relief washed over Edward, quickly replaced by a serious expression. Lily's twins meant three hostages, significantly complicating the situation. Rescuing a heavily pregnant woman was challenging enough; dealing with an adult and two infants was exponentially more nerve-wracking.

"Is there anything else?" Edward asked, pausing before adding, "Have they... done anything to the children?"

"No, no!" the doctor reassured him. "I secretly examined the babies, and they were fine. However, the organization is extremely cautious; other doctors are taking turns caring for the twins."

He hesitated, glancing back at his family. "Now that you've helped me, they'll find out soon. I'll be the prime suspect."

"Don't worry," Edward said, smiling. "You and your family will be long gone before the organization discovers anything. We've arranged for someone to pick you up tomorrow. Thank you for telling me this."

"You're welcome! It's nothing compared to what you've done for me!" the doctor said gratefully. Despite their limited acquaintance, Alexander and Edward had helped him immensely, even relocating his entire family.

Edward sighed. "I guess you could say it's fate. Keep quiet about what happened here. Otherwise, we can't protect you, no matter where you go."

"I understand!" the doctor nodded repeatedly.

Edward said nothing more and vanished into the night.
