The Rowling family, spooked by what they had witnessed, scattered. Jared, however, swiftly caught up to Raphael. "Where is Skylar?" Jared demanded coldly.

The butler trembled. "Please have mercy! Don't kill me... Mr. Norton has been sent to the warehouse. I can take you there." Seeing the butler's terror, Jared loosened his grip. "Try anything funny, and you'll die."

"No tricks, no tricks..." Raphael stammered, knowing he was no match for Jared, let alone Enzo. He guided Jared toward the warehouse.

Inside, Skylar examined the mountains of medicinal herbs and crystals. "Even this," a wizened voice echoed in his mind, "is insufficient to make you a Martial Arts Marquis!"

"Then how can I become a Martial Arts Marquis and defeat Jared?" Skylar asked.

"By absorbing others' strength," the voice replied.

"You mean practice Demonic Cultivation? Become a Demonic Cultivator?" Skylar frowned.

"Demonic Cultivator? In a world where the strong devour the weak? Your family's actions are hardly different! Do you think those fighters you saw didn't drain others' essence?" the voice retorted.

Skylar remained silent before asking, "How strong will you make me? Can I defeat Jared?"

"Hahaha... Jared Chance? If you follow me, you'll reach unimaginable heights! The entire martial arts world will be at your feet!" the voice boomed with laughter.

"Can you make me a Martial Arts Saint?" Skylar's breathing quickened. He knew the prowess of a Martial Arts Saint far surpassed a Marquis; he'd never even heard of anyone achieving it. A Martial Arts Sovereign was pure fantasy.

"You're short-sighted! The martial path is boundless. You could even achieve immortality! Let me reincarnate in your body, and you'll rule the martial arts world! I'll finally have my vengeance..." The voice softened, then faded.

Skylar was stunned. "Who are you? Are you a Demonic Cultivator?"

"A Demonic Cultivator?" the voice scoffed. "They are my inferiors." Skylar felt the shadow within him was no ordinary being.

"M-Mr. Chance, Skylar's inside!" Raphael pointed to the warehouse.

Jared instantly sensed Skylar's presence. Acknowledging the butler's cooperation, he said, "Go."

The relieved butler fled. Skylar was about to begin cultivation when the wizened voice warned, "Jared Chance is here..."
