"I'm scared they'll use my research for unknown purposes, and I don't know what the consequences will be," Lily said.
"Don't be scared," Alexander said, gently holding her hand. "If you think there's a problem and don't wish to continue, end the collaboration. No one can force you."

He avoided putting all his eggs in one basket, expanding beyond real estate, fashion, and entertainment into technology and medicine. He wasn't exaggerating when he said no one would dare force his woman to do anything against her will.
His warm, powerful hand in hers signified his unwavering support. Lily looked at it, curled her lips, and slowly lifted his hand before biting it. Her sharp teeth sank into his palm.
Alexander winced but let her bite him. When she released him, two rows of teeth marks, but no blood, marred his hand.
"Do you know why I bit you?" Lily asked, lifting her chin.
Alexander nodded.
"Because you deserved it?"
He nodded again.
"At least he knows," Lily murmured, pleased. She wiped her lips and lay back down. "Time to sleep!"
Alexander was speechless. He massaged his hand. She's so heartless. At least I held back when I bit her, but she took a serious bite. However, I'm willing to endure it. He lay down beside her, spooning her and gently placing a hand on her slightly bulging belly. The warmth of her tummy filled him with bliss.
"Don't force yourself to do anything you don't like," he whispered in her ear, "whether it's the studio, perfumes, spices, or herbal medicines. What matters is that you enjoy it. Don't do anything that upsets you."
"Okay," Lily replied lightly, though Alexander sensed her happiness and relaxation. Her hand rested on his, her fingers gently rubbing the teeth marks.
Perhaps I should check out that research institute, Alexander thought.
