Hannah was finally satisfied. She didn't care what he thought of her; the important thing was that he was calling her by her nickname, not her sister's. She would simply pretend he was proposing to her, not her sister.

"Say it one more time," she pleaded. It still wasn't enough. She was greedy, wanting to hear him call her name, to hear his sweet words. She couldn't imagine ever hearing them enough; each word was a cherished wish fulfilled.

Ralph couldn't believe it. 'Is this woman sick? This is such a nuisance!' he thought resentfully. But he had no choice; he had to endure it for his own goals.

Licking his lips, he raised his voice. "Annie, I love you. Please marry me!"

Recognizing him, onlookers pulled out their phones to take pictures, cheering, "Marry him! Marry him!"

Hannah had never felt such satisfaction. Hearing her name, witnessing his public declaration of love in such a beautiful, romantic setting—the man she loved proposing to her before a crowd—it felt like the most blissful moment in the world. She even thought she could die without regrets.

"Yes!" she nodded, smiling. Even without a wedding gown, even if this wasn't a real marriage, even if she might never be a bride, she felt she had married her first love.

Ralph breathed a huge sigh of relief. He wasn't sure if he could bear it if she asked him to repeat it again. Even if he wanted to, he wouldn't dare. Fortunately, she didn't embarrass him further, her smiling "yes" showing genuine willingness. 'With all these photos, we'll likely make front-page news. The whole world will know the Riggs family daughter is marrying me. I'll no longer be seen as a Russell family loser, a freeloader. I'm inheriting Riggs Group; my future is bright!'

Thinking this, he happily slipped the ring onto Hannah's finger. As he took her hand, Hannah subconsciously pulled away. She knew this joy would be short-lived; her sister's rage would be terrifying if she found out.

Ralph quickly held her hand. 'She won't go back on her word, will she? She just promised marriage in front of all these people. If she does, I'll be humiliated!'

Preventing her from changing her mind, he placed the ring on her finger, holding her hand tight. Kissing the back of her hand, he looked at her amorously. "Oh, Annie, I'm so happy now!"

Hearing him call her name again and again, Hannah felt happy, her smile widening. Seeing her affection, Ralph couldn't help but rise and kiss her.
