Chapter 610

With just a glance, Richard turned away and strode straight toward his car, tossing over his shoulder, โ€œYou can find your own way back.โ€

Sofia shouted, โ€œDamn it! You drove me here, and now Iโ€™m supposed to get back on my own? Watch me go right back in there and file for divorce!โ€

When they were getting married, he was practically inseparable. But now that they were marriedโ€ฆ If his attitude was going to change, it shouldnโ€™t be like this. It was just too outrageous. When people got married, they at least went out for a meal or something to celebrate.

Richard was already in the car, glancing at Sofia with a faint smile. โ€œFor the next six months, donโ€™t even think about it.โ€

Getting a divorce was no big deal. Sofia retorted, โ€œHa, if I want a divorce, Iโ€™ll find a way. Donโ€™t even think about itโ€”it doesnโ€™t apply to me.โ€

Hearing Sofiaโ€™s sharp-tongued response, Richard simply rolled up the car window. He couldnโ€™t keep talking to her; heโ€™d really lose his temper if he did. He turned to Cliff and said, โ€œDrive.โ€

Cliff looked a bit embarrassed. โ€œArenโ€™t you going to take her out for a post-wedding dinner to celebrate?โ€

โ€œWe have different tastes,โ€ Richard said nonchalantly. The thought of eating with Sofia made his stomach churn. With her quick temper, if she said something wrong during the meal, the whole table might end up flipped.

Cliff smiled, โ€œHow is that even a valid excuse? Be careful, you might push Ms. Sofia to file for divorce on her own.โ€ Cliff believed that Sofia was definitely capable of doing that, given her temperament.

Richardโ€™s response was cold and dismissive. โ€œShe wouldnโ€™t dare.โ€

Cliff fell silent. Whether she would dare or not, everyone in Fiorenza knew the truth. Was Richard really that oblivious?

Richard took out his phone and dialed a number. The person on the other end seemed reluctant to answer. It took two tries before the call was finally picked up. โ€œMr. Casalini, looking for another fight?โ€ Danโ€™s voice came through the phone, gritted with irritation.

Richardโ€™s lips curled into a satisfied smile. โ€œSofia is my wife now.โ€

The line went quiet, the air suddenly heavy with silence. At the hospital, the air in the entire ward turned icy cold at that moment.

Dan opened his eyes coldly and glanced at Maxwell. Maxwell felt a chill run through him under that gaze. Thankfully, Dan looked away after just a moment. When he spoke again, his tone was noticeably colder, โ€œWhat did you say?โ€

Richard smiled, โ€œI said, Sofia is now my wife. Stop bothering her for no reason, or elseโ€ฆโ€ At this point, Richard paused, his voice dripping with a menacing undertone.

A cold gleam flashed in Danโ€™s eyes. โ€œOr else what?โ€ he challenged, his voice low and dangerous.

Richard said, โ€œOr else Iโ€™ll make sure you leave Fiorenza in ashes.โ€ His eyes narrowed, a hint of fury in his voice. That punk dared to act tough in Fiorenza; he was going to teach him a lesson.

Dan: โ€œHa, big talk Mr. Casalini. But is the Casalini family still your support?โ€ Every word was spoken through gritted teeth, his breathing clearly unsteady, as if each syllable was a struggle.

Richard chuckled, a cold, mocking sound. โ€œWhy do you care if Iโ€™ve got support or not? From now on, Sofia is my wife. My wife, understand?โ€ Each word was a deliberate statement, driving his point home.

As soon as the words were spoken, the breathing on the other end of the line grew more intense. Even through the call, Richard could sense the danger emanating from Dan. Dan shouted, โ€œRichard!โ€

Richard shot back, โ€œWhy are you shouting? Didnโ€™t you lose your memory? Great, I hope by the time you remember, Iโ€™ll have a kid with her. Try staying forgetful forever.โ€ His voice was dripping with sarcasm and a hint of triumph.

Dan was silent, unable to respond, his anger palpable through the phone.
