270 Reject Me

Louisโ€™s hand slid up my side, his thumb brushing just under my breast, making me shiver. He tilted my head more, forcing me to take Lennoxโ€™s kiss deeper, and I whimpered when his tongue brushed mine. I hated them. I hated how they made me feel. I hated that my body betrayed me so easilyโ€”craving their touch when my mind screamed for escape.

I forced myself to keep eating until we were both done. Calvin suddenly pushed back his chair and stood.

I took a deep breath and lifted my chin.

I swallowed hard and thought of the pain great-grandfather Callum must have gone through. His only crime was loving herโ€ฆ wanting to be with her, and she did such unspeakable things to him? I stood abruptly, my fists clenched at my sides.

โ€œWhy would the Moon Goddess do this?โ€ I said bitterly to myself. โ€œWhy would she mate me with the Lucianos? With their descendantsโ€”twice?โ€

Oliviaโ€™s POV

โ€œYou hate us,โ€ Louis said, his voice low, lips brushing my jaw, โ€œbut youโ€™ll still be ours. Always.โ€

Lennox stepped forward first.

The words left my lips like venom. But none of them reacted. They just stood there, unmoving, unbothered, like I hadnโ€™t just tried to rip our bond apart.

โ€œWe didnโ€™t ask for this war between our bloodlines,โ€ Levi said, his voice low. โ€œBut weโ€™re not letting it destroy what the Moon Goddess still gave us.โ€

But then Lennox grabbed me. He yanked me toward him and crushed his lips against mine. I gasped. My body froze, shocked by the heat of the kiss, by the electricity that sparked through me. I tried to push away, but I felt Levi behind me. He was closeโ€”too closeโ€”and his lips found the back of my neck. I moaned. My breath hitched, my knees weakening as his kisses trailed up my skin. I was losing myself. The pull was too strong.

โ€œHow was your practice today?โ€ he asked, his voice calm but edged with worry.

270 Reject Me

Calvin stood. โ€œOlivia, where are you going?โ€

โ€œI canโ€™t,โ€ I said, backing away. โ€œI canโ€™t do this.โ€

โ€œOlivia?โ€ Lennox asked, his eyes wide. โ€œHowโ€ฆ?โ€

โ€œI donโ€™t care what silly games the Moon Goddess is playing,โ€ I spat, my voice trembling with rage, โ€œbut Iโ€™m ending it right here.โ€

โ€œYou canโ€™t reject us,โ€ Lennox growled against my lips, his forehead pressed to mine as he spoke. โ€œYour soul wonโ€™t let you.โ€

He kissed me again, rougher this time, swallowing my soft cry. Louisโ€™s mouth claimed my throat, kissing and biting gently until I was trembling in all their hands. Leviโ€™s hands slipped under my shirt, his palms warm against my bare skin. I gasped, my body arching into him as if it belonged there.

I swallowed hard and nodded, my fork hovering over my plate. I was tenseโ€ฆ my mind spinning with questions I was terrified to answer. What could have caused such hatred to run so deep? And if there was so much hate between us, why would the Moon Goddess mate me with the tripletsโ€”twice? What was she thinking?

โ€œI canโ€™t do this,โ€ I said, my voice shaking but strong. โ€œI canโ€™t be mated to you. Not to the descendants of people who destroyed mine, who made my great-grandfather bleed in ways that never healed.โ€

Their expressions shifted instantlyโ€”guarded, confused, tense.

Levi stepped forward, his face conflicted. โ€œWe just found out,โ€ he admitted. โ€œWe didnโ€™t know anything until recently.โ€

โ€œStopโ€ฆโ€ I gasped between kisses, but my voice sounded weak, breathless, and needy. โ€œDonโ€™tโ€ฆ donโ€™t do thisโ€ฆโ€

โ€œYes.โ€ Calvin nodded and slumped on the couch. โ€œThatโ€™s why great-grandfather Callum warned Hailee never to step foot in this pack. Her sonโ€”our grandfatherโ€”cut all ties with her when he was just a teen. No one spoke of her. So when the revelation came that the next special one would come from usโ€ฆ it shocked everyone, because we hated her. We hated her for what she did.โ€

I was having lunch with Calvin at the dining table. I noticed his eyes were constantly on me, watching every move like he needed to be sure I was really okay. Finally, he spoke.

270 Reject Me

I followed Calvin in silence, my heart thudding anxiously in my chest. He led me through the hallway until we reached the library. It was quiet and cold, the scent of aged paper and leather-bound books filling the air. He walked to one of the older shelves tucked in the far corner, reached behind a stack of thick volumes, and carefully pulled out a scroll.

The room went still, like the very air had frozen.

When I reappeared, I was in Lennoxโ€™s room. The familiar scent hit me, but I fought it down. All three of themโ€”Lennox, Louis, and Leviโ€”were there, frozen in place, shocked at the sudden appearance.

And thenโ€”Louis. He stepped in close, his hand tilting my chin so Lennoxโ€™s kiss deepened. His other hand slid to my waist, pulling me tighter between them all.

Lennoxโ€™s kiss devoured every ounce of resistance I had left. I could feel his anger, desperationโ€”his loveโ€”woven into every rough brush of his lips. My fists were still pressed against his chest, but they were no longer pushing him away. They were clutching his shirt, holding him closer.

โ€œI nodded with a small smile. โ€œIt was greatโ€ฆ I can now teleport easily, and now I know how to control it.โ€

โ€œWe are not rejecting you,โ€ Lennox said firmly.

โ€œRead it,โ€ he said softly. โ€œEverything you need to know is in there. It was written by your great-grandfather Callum himself, his final record before he died.โ€

โ€œYou already know the truth, donโ€™t you?โ€ I said. โ€œAbout our families.โ€

I was shaking. Was this some cruel punishment? A test? Hadnโ€™t I been through enough?

My wolf howled inside me, drawn to them. Their presence, their bondโ€”it still pulled at every part of me, but I shoved her back with force. This wasnโ€™t the time. This wasnโ€™t the place.

Calvin nodded slowly. โ€œThat is good. Keep it up.โ€

โ€œI donโ€™t want to keep anything away from you anymore. After you finish eating, Iโ€™ll show you somethingโ€ฆ and tell you how the Lucianos and our family became sworn enemies for life.โ€

โ€œCome onโ€ฆ let me show you something,โ€ he said quietly.

โ€œNoโ€ฆ no, pleaseโ€ฆโ€ I begged, but my plea turned into a moan when Lennoxโ€™s teeth grazed my lower lip, biting down just enough to make my knees give out. Levi caught me easily, pressing my back against his chest, his hands splayed wide across my stomach.

โ€œIโ€™ll be back,โ€ I muttered, and with a quick breath, I focusedโ€”and vanished.

โ€œYou bastards!โ€ I screamed, hitting Lennox in the chest. โ€œWhy canโ€™t you just reject me? Why wonโ€™t you let me go?!โ€ I hit him again and again, the pain too much, the tears pouring down. โ€œYou should hate meโ€ฆ you shouldโ€ฆโ€

I nodded slowly, feeling a lump rise in my throat as I carefully unrolled the scroll. The handwriting was old, jagged in places, but clear enough to read. As I read, my eyes began to sting. My fingers trembled. Tears slipped down my cheeks as I kept reading. By the time I reached the final line, I was sobbing, not just from the words, but from the weight of it, the pain etched into every stroke of ink. The heartbreak. The betrayal. The loss. I could feel it all, as if great-grandfather Callumโ€™s soul had reached out and placed his agony in my chest.

โ€œYou donโ€™t want us to stop,โ€ Levi murmured into my skin, his voice sending vibrations down my spine.

โ€œWe donโ€™t care,โ€ he said firmly.

โ€œI, Olivia Beckham, reject youโ€”Lennox, Levi, and Louis Lucianoโ€”as my mates.โ€

โ€œI teleported,โ€ I said flatly. โ€œThatโ€™s not why Iโ€™m here.โ€

With tear-filled eyes, I looked up at Calvin and asked, โ€œThey really did this?โ€ I asked, not able to believe it.

My fists clenched.

Louis tried to speak, but I held up my hand.

Louisโ€™s lips found the corner of my mouth, brushing soft, teasing kisses there before pulling back just enough to look into my eyes. โ€œYou want this, Olivia. Even if you hate usโ€ฆ you still want us.โ€

โ€œNoโ€ฆโ€ I whispered, but my moan betrayed me when Lennoxโ€™s hands slid down my back, grabbing my ass and pulling me flush against him. I could feel him, his cock hard, ready, his scent wrapping around me like a chain I couldnโ€™t break.

โ€œThank you,โ€ I said and went back to eating. Another moment of silence hung in the air before Calvin spoke.

โ€œYouโ€™re ours, Olivia,โ€ Lennox murmured, his forehead resting on mine, his breath ragged. โ€œNo family relationship, blood feud, no betrayal. Nothing will change that.โ€

Behind me, Leviโ€™s breath was hot against my skin as his mouth trailed fire along the curve of my neck. Each kiss made my knees buckle, my mind spin. His hands gripped my hips, grounding meโ€”trapping me.

Suddenly they let me go. Breathless, shaking, and drowning in their scent, I couldnโ€™t stand it anymore. Before they could touch me again, I forced myself to focus through the hazeโ€ฆ and teleported away.

He handed it to me.

โ€œWhy?!โ€ I shouted, glaring at them, my heart cracking with every second of their silence. โ€œWhy wonโ€™t you reject me?! Weโ€™re enemies by blood! My family suffered because of yours! We should hate each other!โ€

Tears slipped from the corners of my eyesโ€”frustration, confusion, desire tangled in a knot that refused to unravel. My wolf howled inside me, clawing at the walls Iโ€™d built, desperate to give in to them.

I shook with anger. โ€œYou should hate me! I hate you!โ€ But even as I said it, I didnโ€™t believe it, because deep down, even after everythingโ€ฆ I still loved them, and that made me angrier than anything.

โ€œYou think any of that changes how we feel?โ€ Louis added, his tone sharp.

Louisโ€™s fingers brushed away my tears as he pressed a soft kiss to my temple. โ€œFight us all you wantโ€ฆ weโ€™ll fight back harder.โ€

โ€œI want a rejection,โ€ I said. โ€œI want this bond gone.โ€
