Chapter 333: Couple's Playfulness
Fraser raised his hand slightly, and the maids, models, and makeup artists promptly withdrew, leaving them alone. Today, Summer seemed different somehow. I couldnโt quite pinpoint what it wasโthe way she looked at me or how close she stayed to me. His eyes darkened as he felt the softness of her hand in his, his throat bobbing slightly before he finally spoke, his voice low and deliberate.
โIf you like it, then I like it.โ
Summer blinked. โEven if I really wore that sexy dress out?โ
Fraser narrowed his eyes, a dangerous glint flashing in them. โAre you teasing me on purpose?โ
Without waiting for an answer, he pulled her onto his lap, his hand sliding under her skirt without restraint.
โAhโThat tickles!โ
โStill daring to provoke me, hm?โ Fraser asked.
โI wonโtโI wonโt! Fraser, if you keep going, IโllโฆIโll get mad!โ
After some playful wrestling, Summer finally settled on a black gown. Her baby bump wasnโt usually noticeable, but a fitted dress would still reveal a slight curve. This particular black gown had a strapless, sweetheart neckline, crafted from the finest satin, with layers of cascading ruffles that swayed like ocean waves. When Summer wore it, she looked like an enchanting spiritโmysterious yet irresistibly alluring. Her fair skin contrasted beautifully against the dark fabric, making her appear even more delicate, as if begging to be touched.
When she stepped out of the dressing room, Fraserโs gaze darkened as he raked his eyes over herโslowly, deliberatelyโstarting from her head, trailing down, then back up again before finally settling on her face. Summer fidgeted under his scrutiny. โDoes itโฆnot look good?โ
His eyes burned with a barely restrained intensity as he leaned in, his breath hot against her ear.
โYouโre so beautiful that I want to hide you away.โ

Fraser tucked a loose strand of hair behind her ear, his voice rough with desire.
โWhen we get back, Iโm going to peel this off youโslowly, piece by piece.โ
His calloused fingertips brushed her earlobe, teasing and kneading lightly. Summer shot him an embarrassed glare before quickly walking ahead. Fraser watched her flustered retreat, a smirk tugging at his lips.
The birthday celebration for Granthera Bankโs former chairman was held in a lavish five-story villa. The mansion was ablaze with lights, the clinking of glasses and hum of conversations turning the hillside estate as bright as day. A red carpet stretched like a river from the entrance all the way into the heart of the venue. When Summer walked in arm-in-arm with Fraser, a ripple of murmurs spread through the crowd. All eyes instantly locked onto themโfirst on Fraser, then slowly shifting to the woman beside him.
Tonight, Fraser wore a meticulously tailored three-piece black suit, a sleek tie completing the ensemble. His noble bearing made him stand out like royalty among commoners. Summer, however, felt uneasy under the weight of so many stares. Fraser paused, glancing down at her. โWhatโs wrong?โ
She tugged his hand lightly. โDo you not notice how those women are practically undressing you with their eyes?โ
Fraser lazily swept his sharp gaze across the room before smirking. โAnd I donโt like how those men are staring at you. So stick close to me. Donโt wander off.โ
Wouldnโt want someone stealing you away. Especially with that new nuisance, Lucas Aldridge, lurking around. Not that he was a real threatโjust an eyesore.
Soon, groups of well-dressed men and their companions approached to greet them.
โMr. Graham, itโs an honor. Iโm Finnian from Cavernetworks Technologyโฆโ

โโฆfortunate man you are.โ
As the wealthiest family in Havenbrook, the Grahams were magnets for social climbers. And with the Graham Groupโs legendary investment divisionโcapable of reviving any failing project with a single injection of capitalโeveryone wanted a connection. Meanwhile, the women on their arms stared at Summer with a mix of envy and resentment. Fraser stood tall, his handsome face cool and detached. Even surrounded by admirers, he couldnโt be bothered to offer a smileโjust a faint nod. His attention remained solely on Summer. He leaned down. โThirsty?โ
Before she could answer, a woman in a purple dress hurried over with a glass of water, smiling sweetly.
โThe nightโs just started. Warm water is better for you.โ
She was Danielโs companion. Summer was thirsty, so she accepted it. โThank you.โ
Fraserโs dark eyes lingered on her before flicking indifferently to Daniel.
โSend another copy of that project proposal to my assistant.โ
