Chapter 278: Settling the Score
In an instant, everyone realized Fraser had come to teach someone a harsh lesson. Xavier glared disdainfully at Philip on the ground.
โYou dared to touch Summer the other day?โ
โYou think sheโs someone you can mess with?โ
Trevorโs eyes darkened instantly upon hearing this, staring coldly at Philip. Philip gasped heavily, his face contorted in pain from the brutal kick heโd received.
โItโit was a misunderstandingโฆโ
โHuh, misunderstanding?โ Xavier sneered. โThen howโd you end up in her hotel room?โ
Without hesitation, Xavier raised his foot again and landed another powerful kick right in Philipโs stomach. The kick sank deeply into Philipโs slightly chubby belly, forcing him to roll across the floor in agony. The excruciating pain drained the color from Philipโs face, beads of sweat pouring down his forehead. The women beside them screamed, terrified by the violent scene. Since the private room door had remained open, people quickly gathered at the entrance to watch the commotion.
Qinghui Pavilionโs favored hostess, hearing the chaos, hurried over. The Pavilion was one of Havenbrookโs most prestigious venuesโfrequented by wealthy men and influential executives. A public beating could ruin its reputation and affect business.
Spotting Fraser standing arrogantly nearby, Lennox believed she could appeal to their past acquaintance for leniency. She gracefully approached, speaking softly and gently, โMr. Fraser, whatโs with all the hostility? If thereโs a misunderstanding, perhaps everyone could sit down calmly and discuss it?โ
Summer immediately recognized Lennox as the woman whoโd poured drinks for Fraser last time. Fraser coldly glanced at Lennox, his voice indifferent and sharp. โDid I say you could speak?โ
Lennoxโs face flushed with humiliation.
Just then, Xavier walked back, casually shaking out his hand. Fraser looked over impassively. โDone teaching him the rules?โ
โMm-hmm.โ
Fraser calmly stepped forward, pressing his shoe harshly onto Philipโs head, treating him like a piece of trash.
โIโm a fair person. If someone bullies whatโs mine, Iโll always make them pay it back.โ
Already wracked with pain, Philip turned deathly pale upon seeing Fraserโs ruthless expression. He stammered fearfully, โIt was Siennaโshe saidโฆ she was your ex-girlfriend and that even if something happened, you wouldnโt get involved.โ
Hearing โex-girlfriend,โ Trevor immediately glanced at Summer, his brows furrowed deeply. Fraserโs eyes turned icy cold, pressing harder onto Philipโs head. The sharp tip of his shoe nearly pierced into Philipโs eye socket.
โAhhh!โ Philip shrieked in absolute terror, desperately begging, โPlease spare me, Mr. Graham! I didnโt touch herโI didnโt even lay a finger on her! Iโm sorryโI swear! Please, let me go!โ
Fraser raised an eyebrow, a chilling, contemptuous smile appearing on his lips. Picking up a sharp fruit knife from the table nearby, he nonchalantly ran the blade along his palm.
โIs that right?โ
In the next instant, with a whistle, the knife flew straight toward Philipโs head, stabbing the floor just inches from his skull. Everyone in the room gasped, shocked into silence. Mr. Fraser was willing to spill blood for this woman!
โWhereโs Sienna?โ
Philip trembled violently as he spoke, โIโI donโt know. Ever since that dayโฆ I havenโt seen her again.โ
โIt was all her ideaโshe tricked me into doing it. If she hadnโt lied, I would never dare mess withโฆ with your woman.โ
Chapter 278: Settling the Score
Fraser smiled. โWant to play?โ
Summer tilted her head innocently. โPlay what?โ
Fraser smiled casually, as if discussing the weather. โAnything you want. As long as youโre happy.โ
The onlookers shivered at his chilling tone. Summer smiled brightly, her eyes sparkling clearly as she looked at Fraser.
โSure, letโs play.โ
Fraser ordered casually, โBring me a few knives.โ
