Chapter 278: Settling the Score

In an instant, everyone realized Fraser had come to teach someone a harsh lesson. Xavier glared disdainfully at Philip on the ground.

โ€œYou dared to touch Summer the other day?โ€

โ€œYou think sheโ€™s someone you can mess with?โ€

Trevorโ€™s eyes darkened instantly upon hearing this, staring coldly at Philip. Philip gasped heavily, his face contorted in pain from the brutal kick heโ€™d received.

โ€œItโ€”it was a misunderstandingโ€ฆโ€

โ€œHuh, misunderstanding?โ€ Xavier sneered. โ€œThen howโ€™d you end up in her hotel room?โ€

Without hesitation, Xavier raised his foot again and landed another powerful kick right in Philipโ€™s stomach. The kick sank deeply into Philipโ€™s slightly chubby belly, forcing him to roll across the floor in agony. The excruciating pain drained the color from Philipโ€™s face, beads of sweat pouring down his forehead. The women beside them screamed, terrified by the violent scene. Since the private room door had remained open, people quickly gathered at the entrance to watch the commotion.

Qinghui Pavilionโ€™s favored hostess, hearing the chaos, hurried over. The Pavilion was one of Havenbrookโ€™s most prestigious venuesโ€”frequented by wealthy men and influential executives. A public beating could ruin its reputation and affect business.

Spotting Fraser standing arrogantly nearby, Lennox believed she could appeal to their past acquaintance for leniency. She gracefully approached, speaking softly and gently, โ€œMr. Fraser, whatโ€™s with all the hostility? If thereโ€™s a misunderstanding, perhaps everyone could sit down calmly and discuss it?โ€

Summer immediately recognized Lennox as the woman whoโ€™d poured drinks for Fraser last time. Fraser coldly glanced at Lennox, his voice indifferent and sharp. โ€œDid I say you could speak?โ€

Lennoxโ€™s face flushed with humiliation.

Just then, Xavier walked back, casually shaking out his hand. Fraser looked over impassively. โ€œDone teaching him the rules?โ€

โ€œMm-hmm.โ€

Fraser calmly stepped forward, pressing his shoe harshly onto Philipโ€™s head, treating him like a piece of trash.

โ€œIโ€™m a fair person. If someone bullies whatโ€™s mine, Iโ€™ll always make them pay it back.โ€

Already wracked with pain, Philip turned deathly pale upon seeing Fraserโ€™s ruthless expression. He stammered fearfully, โ€œIt was Siennaโ€”she saidโ€ฆ she was your ex-girlfriend and that even if something happened, you wouldnโ€™t get involved.โ€

Hearing โ€œex-girlfriend,โ€ Trevor immediately glanced at Summer, his brows furrowed deeply. Fraserโ€™s eyes turned icy cold, pressing harder onto Philipโ€™s head. The sharp tip of his shoe nearly pierced into Philipโ€™s eye socket.

โ€œAhhh!โ€ Philip shrieked in absolute terror, desperately begging, โ€œPlease spare me, Mr. Graham! I didnโ€™t touch herโ€”I didnโ€™t even lay a finger on her! Iโ€™m sorryโ€”I swear! Please, let me go!โ€

Fraser raised an eyebrow, a chilling, contemptuous smile appearing on his lips. Picking up a sharp fruit knife from the table nearby, he nonchalantly ran the blade along his palm.

โ€œIs that right?โ€

In the next instant, with a whistle, the knife flew straight toward Philipโ€™s head, stabbing the floor just inches from his skull. Everyone in the room gasped, shocked into silence. Mr. Fraser was willing to spill blood for this woman!

โ€œWhereโ€™s Sienna?โ€

Philip trembled violently as he spoke, โ€œIโ€”I donโ€™t know. Ever since that dayโ€ฆ I havenโ€™t seen her again.โ€

โ€œIt was all her ideaโ€”she tricked me into doing it. If she hadnโ€™t lied, I would never dare mess withโ€ฆ with your woman.โ€

Fraser smiled. โ€œWant to play?โ€

Summer tilted her head innocently. โ€œPlay what?โ€

Fraser smiled casually, as if discussing the weather. โ€œAnything you want. As long as youโ€™re happy.โ€

The onlookers shivered at his chilling tone. Summer smiled brightly, her eyes sparkling clearly as she looked at Fraser.

โ€œSure, letโ€™s play.โ€

Fraser ordered casually, โ€œBring me a few knives.โ€
