Chapter 255: Summer Hotel
Fraser didn't stop, carrying the woman straight toward the yellow Lamborghini parked at The Qube's entrance. He let out a scoff. "If I put you down, you'll run."
Summer was frustrated. How did he know that?
Fraser placed Summer in the passenger seat and shut the door before walking around the front of the car. Sliding into the driver's seat, he turned to her and ruffled her hair. "Be good. I have a surprise for you later."
Summer turned her head away, refusing to look at him. Why is this man so domineering?
Fraser gripped the steering wheel, eyes fixed ahead, and stepped on the gas. With a loud roar, the yellow Lamborghini shot forward like a streak of lightning. Half an hour later, a towering 66-story white luxury architectural masterpiece came into viewโthe six-star Summer Hotel.
The Lamborghini pulled up in front of the hotel's grand fountain. The Summer Hotel's exterior was breathtaking, its level of luxury astonishing. Every detail had been meticulously crafted, exuding an unparalleled sense of design. From a distance, it looked like a dazzling gem embedded in the heart of the bustling city.
Summer knew this place. It was the first six-star hotel in Havenbrook, featuring an aerial garden, an ocean-view restaurant, a swimming pool, a conference hall, and more. Built three years ago, it was named Summer Hotel. Its grand opening had caused a sensation in Havenbrook, instantly becoming a city landmark. Many rumors surrounded this mysterious Summer Hotel. Some said its owner was a foreign billionaire. Some speculated that "Summer" stood for an interstellar spaceship.
Fraser got out of the car, walked around to the passenger side, and leaned against the open door as he stared at Summer. Summer glanced at the hotel, puzzled. "Why did you bring me here?"
Did he seriously bring her to a hotel to get a room? She was only two months pregnant. Intense activity was not recommended.
Fraser arched a brow and smirked. "If you don't get out, I'll sell youโ"
Summer clenched her teeth but still stepped out of the car. A long red carpet stretched from the car door all the way to the hotel entrance like a vibrant ribbon. Summer looked at Fraser in confusion. Fraser simply lifted his chin, signaling her to walk forward. She had only taken a few steps when a little girl holding a bright red rose approached, beaming.
"Miss, I wish you happiness every day."
With that, the little girl handed her the rose. Summer was surprised, reaching out to accept it in a daze. "Thank you." She continued down the red carpet. Along the way, more little girls, each holding a rose, approached her with blessings.
"Miss, I hope you have a little princess."
"Miss, I hope you'll always be beautiful."
"Miss, I wish you eternal happiness."
By the time Summer stepped into the hotel, her arms were full of flowers. And the moment she entered the lobby, the scene before her left her utterly stunned. Two rows of hotel staff stood neatly in formation, bowing slightly, their voices in perfect unison: "Ms. Stewart, we wish you everlasting happiness and good health!"
Inside the suite, the floor was covered with a sea of flowersโvibrant roses, camellias, and blue roses in a dazzling display of colors. Standing in the doorway, Summer was taken aback. "Tonightโฆ what does this mean?"
Fraser arched a brow, his dark eyes fixed on her, a hint of expectation in his gaze. "Do you like it?"
Summer swallowed. If she said no now, would he destroy her?
Fraserโs gaze deepened as he watched her, the corner of his lips lifting slightly. "Summer, this is a gift for your pregnancyโ"
Summer lowered her eyes. Got it. Everything he did was for the baby.
Summer responded indifferently, "Oh."
Fraser reached out, pinched her cheek, and curved her lips into a smile. "Why don't you look happy?"
Summer forced a half-hearted smile to appease him.
Fraser let out an exasperated sigh. "Ms. Stewart, you are really hard to please."
Summer walked inside and placed the roses in her arms onto the sea of flowers. The next second, Fraser wrapped his arms around her from behind, resting his chin on the top of her head. His voice was deep and alluring. "Tonight, don't reject me, okay? Just for one night."
Summer's eyes flickered. Above her, his lazy, sexy voice sounded again. "Do you know why this hotel is called Summer Hotel?"
