After a few seconds of silence, he tried to calm himself and talk to her. “Did you see all that just now?”

She didn’t expect him to bring this up so directly. Was he reminding her of the divorce? She thought, “Is he crazy? He was the one putting it off, and now he hugs his lover to remind me?”

Julian suddenly approached and asked about what she had seen. Rosalie guessed he did so to remind her of the divorce.

After cursing him inwardly, she replied, “Yes, I saw it.”

Even though he expected her to have seen it, Julian felt tension at her answer.

With a nervous look, he asked, “What do you want to say about it?”

Rosalie frowned, again feeling he was out of his mind. She thought, “Hugging his lover while refusing a divorce—how contradictory!”

Rosalie, though annoyed, replied politely, “You are a perfect match.”

Hearing this, Julian felt another surge of displeasure. His cold eyes grew colder. “Rosalie, what you said was unpleasant.”

Rosalie lowered her eyes, remaining indifferent, and simply murmured, “Hmm.” She sipped her water, testing the temperature. Finding it suitable, she drank the rest.
