Chapter 799 Youโ€™ve Offended the Owner

Hayleyโ€™s POV:

Freya clearly didnโ€™t want to get dragged into more drama.

She hinted at Celine, โ€œDrop it. If this gets any messier, weโ€™ll have a hard time dealing with it later.โ€

Celine scoffed and shot back, โ€œYou want me to back off? Sheโ€™s the one causing all this! If she had just walked away, none of this wouldโ€™ve happened. But now, she picks a fight and expects to walk out like nothing happened? Not happening! Thereโ€™s no big-shot werewolf protecting her this time. Iโ€™m gonna put this low-rank Omega in her place and show her what it means to respect someone above her!โ€

Freya looked annoyed. Sheโ€™d gone head-to-head with me before, so she knew I wasnโ€™t a helpless Omega. At least she wasnโ€™t dumb.

Celine, on the other hand, clearly didnโ€™t get it. She thought I was someone she could just boss around.

Noticing Freyaโ€™s sullen expression, I warned her meaningfully, โ€œSome people donโ€™t get away with their actions forever. Sooner or later, they pay for what theyโ€™ve done.โ€

That line was aimed at Freya.

But Celine, being clueless as usual, thought I was referring to her. Her eyes flared red as she snapped, โ€œWho are you implying? You think you can get back at me?!โ€

Scarlett, done with her call, stepped beside me and gave Celine a disdainful look. โ€œOh wow, someoneโ€™s actually begging to be insulted now?โ€

Then, she gave me a sly smirk, waved her phone, and raised her brows. โ€œItโ€™s done.โ€

Right away, I knew my godfather mustโ€™ve already taken care of everything.

Scarlett slipped her phone into her jeans pocket, crossed her arms, and looked straight at Celine. โ€œStill think youโ€™ve got the upper hand? Try me. Just donโ€™t cry about the outcome.โ€

โ€œYou bitch!โ€

Celine snapped, ready to shift into her wolf form and launch herself at us.

Just then, a whole squad of uniformed, high-ranking werewolf security guards stormed in with the manager leading the way.

Around 20 people blocked the exit completely.

The security guard who had bailed earlier rushed back in, hurried over to the manager, and pointed at me. โ€œMr. Andersen, sheโ€™s the one who started it!โ€

โ€œMhm,โ€ the manager responded calmly.

He looked down at the guard who was still on the ground, then glanced at me. Finally, he turned his attention to Celineโ€™s group. His tone stayed calm as he asked, โ€œExcuse me, which one of you is Ms. Estrada?โ€

โ€œMs. Estrada? Thereโ€™s only a Ms. Sander here! Sheโ€™s Freya, the eldest daughter of the Sanders!โ€ Celine shouted arrogantly.

The manager smiled politely, as if he understood perfectly, then turned to me with total respect. โ€œIn that case, you must be Ms. Estrada?โ€

Since he didnโ€™t look like he was picking a fight, I stepped back, removed my foot from the guard on the ground, and pointed at Scarlett. โ€œNot me. Sheโ€™s the one.โ€

He nodded in understanding.

The guard who ran off earlier helped his buddy to his feet, then started whining, โ€œMr. Andersen, Kyler is badly hurt. You canโ€™t just let her get away with it!โ€

The managerโ€™s friendly expression dropped, and his tone turned cold. โ€œDonโ€™t worry. Iโ€™ll handle it.โ€

A second later, he snapped, โ€œBoth of youโ€”donโ€™t bother showing up tomorrow. Youโ€™re fired for good!โ€

โ€œWhat? Are you insane?โ€ Celine stared at him in disbelief. โ€œInstead of kicking out those two troublemakers, youโ€™re firing your staff for defending VIPs?โ€

โ€œExactly! Thatโ€™s so unfair!โ€ the guards shouted in protest.

โ€œUnfair?โ€ The manager gave Scarlett a respectful glance, then barked, โ€œYouโ€™re fired because you disrespected the owner of the mall!โ€
