Listen to this chapter:

Donald was at a loss about what to do with Jennifer. Just then, Benny, who had been observing the drama from inside, emerged.

He said, "Hey, you two, want to come into my office for some coffee? If you have questions about repayments or anything else, I'm a lawyer, happy to help."

Jennifer felt a bit annoyed. It was Benny againโ€”how embarrassing to have an outsider witness their argument. "No, thanks. Whatever's going on between me and my boyfriend, we'll handle it ourselves."

In the end, Donald and Jennifer didn't accept Benny's offer. They managed to reconcile, more or less, and left together in the same car.

A taxi slowly pulled up in front of Benny's office. Cheryl got out, looking a little lost, and walked over to Donald's car, only to find it empty.

Benny called out to her, "Your brother left with Jennifer. He left his car here."

"I see," Cheryl replied. Benny politely invited her in for some coffee. Cheryl smiled. "Alright, since you're being so welcoming, I'll take you up on it." Benny was speechless for a moment.

Cheryl rubbed her belly as it rumbled loudly, and then asked, "Can I have some of those cookies on the table?"

Benny chuckled and slid the cookies and desserts over to her, then said to a staff member, "Get our guest a glass of juice."

"Thank you," Cheryl said with a polite smile. She hadn't eaten enough at her last meal and was starving. As she smiled, Benny finally noticed the two little dimples at the corners of her mouthโ€”she was actually quite cute.

As Benny turned to go to the back, the staff kept sneaking glances at Cheryl. Someone joked, "Benny, looks like you're about to be a dad."

Benny was speechless.

The staff member added, "Just look at her belly. She's really showing now."

Benny frowned. He'd always thought Cheryl was gaining weight quickly, but now, looking at her belly, he couldn't help but wonderโ€ฆ

Taking the opportunity while handing her the juice, Benny tactfully asked, "Cheryl, do you have a boyfriend?"

Cheryl shook her head innocently. "No, I don't have a boyfriend."

"I see," Benny muttered. 'If she doesn't even have a boyfriend, there's no way she's pregnant,' he thought. 'The Lynn family does keep things pretty strict.'

Cheryl asked, "What, are you trying to set me up with someone?"

"What kind of guy do you like?" Benny asked casually.

"I like guys who are sunny, good-looking, treat me well, and have a good temper," Cheryl replied dreamily.

"That's a pretty tall order," Benny teased. "Maybe try losing a little weight first? Summer's almost here. Don't you want to wear cute dresses?"

Cheryl glared at him. "There you go again, always butting in. You're so annoying."

Benny raised his hands in surrender. "Alright, alright, I'll stop playing the busybody. Take your time and eat."

Cheryl kept munching on cookies and cake, eating a great deal. Once she was full, Benny offered to drive her home; otherwise, she'd have to call a cab since she didn't have a car.

Cheryl climbed into Benny's Lamborghini. "My sister-in-law was rightโ€”you really are a rich guy."

"Which sister-in-law are you talking about?" Benny reminded her to buckle her seatbelt as he spoke.

"Teresa, of course. She mentioned you before and even wanted to set us up," Cheryl said.

Benny glanced at Cheryl, noticing the sparkle in her eyes, then quickly looked away and put some distance between them. "No way. I don't date friends' relatives."

Cheryl said it offhandedly. She absentmindedly patted her stomach and thought, 'Why is it so hard to find a guy to play dad for my future kid?'
