Lucian cut off Hogan, turning to Lemira: “I’m not here to plead for leniency. They made mistakes; they should be punished.”

Not here to plead?

Lucian took a document from Hogan: “This artificial intelligence project has a lot of potential. I know you’ve been a key tech figure at Maple Group, but why not strike out on your own?”

“What do you mean?”

“This is my company, and now I’m giving you all my shares. Then you can develop the AI project independently, and when it goes public, all the success will be solely yours.”

Lemira looked at the share transfer agreement. She hadn’t expected him to hand over the company to her! Was Lucian regretting his actions after seeing Evelina’s true colors in the surveillance video incident, seeking to make amends?
