This was something she couldn't oppose. It didn't matter how powerful Isa was; she couldn't change the situation.

Enzo clasped his hands and said, "Sis, don't worry. I'll go pick up Mr. Archer now. I'll handle things properly."

With that, Enzo, accompanied by two people, left the Rivas family estate.

Mike watched Enzo leave, chuckling softly. "Within the Rivas family, Enzo is the most capable and well-connected. But are you really ready to hand over the reins so soon?"

Elisa nodded sincerely. "I've held this position too long, and Father truly doesn't want me to bear this burden daily. Making way for Enzo is the right thing to do. A beast in the zoo is never as fierce as one in the wild. Only by letting him experience things himself can we see his true potential. With Enzo's personality, he won't cause any major trouble. If things don't go well, you're still here to support him."

Elisa continued, "So, let him do it. I want to spend the next five years with Father, repaying him for raising me." Elliot had raised and nurtured many, but Elisa truly embodied the role of an elder sister and mother figure. The Rivas family's standing in Kerdonia was stable, and Elisa didn't want to regret missing the chance to care for her father while he was still alive. She couldn't allow herself that regret, especially after Elliot's recovery from the brink of death.

Mike understood Elisa's decision and nodded slightly. "Since this is your choice, I will support you. With us here, nothing will happen to the Rivas family. I'll guide Enzo as well."

"Thank you, Mike," Elisa said, smiling as she stood. "Let's go. This is our event; we need to make arrangements and welcome Mr. Archer." Her expression turned serious when she mentioned Kyle. "Mike, we must treat Mr. Archer with respect. If he has any requests, we'll fulfill them as much as possible. If we can't, we must still give our all. It doesn't matter if it hurts Rivas Corporation's interests. As long as we maintain our relationship with Mr. Archer, we will definitely rise to greater heights." Elisa had stressed this point countless times.

Mike agreed, but only he had witnessed Kyle's tactics firsthand. He found it hard to understand those who opposed Kyle. Going against Kyle was like challenging death itself. Mike was certain Kyle was more than a simple miracle doctor; he believed terrifying secrets lay behind him.

Meanwhile, Enzo, with ten bodyguards, three cars, and two trusted aides, went to the hospital to meet Kyle. In the car, his aide, Luca Bruno, looked bewildered. It was unusual for the Rivas family to make such a fuss, especially having Enzo personally pick someone up.

"Mr. Rivas, isn't this excessive for Ms. Rivas to ask you to personally receive Mr. Archer, given your status?" Luca asked.

Enzo shook his head. "It's fine. Mr. Archer saved Father and did us a great favor. It's not too much to be meticulous and go all out for him. Besides, he's done me a huge favor too. Without him, who knows how much longer Elisa would have held onto her position as head of the family? There are still many watching me like a hawk. I must thank him for this."

Luca's eyes lit up. Although Enzo was a key member of Rivas Corporation, he only headed a subsidiary. A smooth succession would make him head of Rivas Corporation, overseeing everything. As Enzo's trusted aide, Luca knew his position would rise significantly.

"Mr. Rivas, do you think Ms. Rivas truly wishes to hand over the leadership to you? She's not even 40 and is in good health," Luca said.

Enzo narrowed his eyes. "Elisa has never spoken without reason. Even if she doesn't step aside immediately, she intends to. It's just a matter of time. And the fact she said this in front of Mike means I am her chosen successor. If anyone wants to fight for it, they'd have to get past Elisa first. Do you know how much trouble that saves me?"

Enzo continued, "Elisa has always been devoted to Father. Now that he's frail, her biggest wish is to spend time with him. Anything else would distract her, so doesn't it make perfect sense to pass the reins to me?"

His expression suddenly turned serious, and he looked at Luca. "Do not let anyone know about this. There's no benefit to anyone if this is leaked. You're a smart man; you know what to do."
