Chapter 734: She Vomited
Alpha pursed his lips. โAnabelle, you only told me this after I rushed over? Sometimes, I want to rip out your heart to see if you even have one!โ
Anabelle hardened her heart. โAlpha, stop it. Leave me alone. I only bring you disaster.โ She continued, โDonโt you understand? I donโt want you here. Even if you stay away, Marcus will come. Youโre just feigning affection, and it disgusts me. Youโre haunting me.โ
A dangerous storm brewed in Alphaโs eyes. He looked at Anabelle mercilessly, then let out a deep laugh, his tongue pressed against his cheek. โOh, Anabelle, you are evil!โ
He was furious. He would usually make such a person disappear, but this was Anabelle. Enraged, he could only hiss, โFuck!โ
He grabbed her wrist, forcing her into the passenger seat. Anabelle struggled. โAlpha, let me go! I donโt want to get in your car!โ
โShut up! I donโt want to hear you right now!โ
โAlpha!โ Anabelle pushed him away.
Alphaโs hand clenched into a fist. His face was dark, almost bleeding. He hissed, โAnabelle, my patience is limited. Do you want to anger me?โ
Anabelle glanced at him and left. She hailed a taxi, urging the driver, โDrive fast.โ Alpha watched the taxi speed away, a storm in his eyes. This woman!
Seconds later, he returned to his car and sped off. In the silence, his phone rang. It was Lilโ Nathan. Alpha read the message, tossed the phone onto the passenger seat, and lowered the window, letting in the cold wind.
In the taxi, the driver said, โHey, is that luxury car following us?โ
Anabelle, looking at a text from Levi, heard the driver. She looked through the rearview mirror and saw Alphaโs car chasing them. What was he doing? Wasnโt he at the hospital with Bounty?
Chapter 734: She Vomited (continued)
Anabelle watched his black luxury car gleam under the neon lightsโjust like him.
โShould we stop?โ the driver asked.
Anabelle shook her head. โNo, letโs go. If he wants to follow, let him.โ
โOkay.โ
Anabelle lowered her eyelids. Alpha, please come backโฆ Stop trying to convince me.
Anabelle returned to her apartment. Levi exclaimed, โGrandma, youโre back!โ
She hugged him. โLevi, what about your text? Why did you say Aunt Bounty was okay?โ
Levi laughed. โMom left a golden pill. It protects Aunt Bounty for three nights. Mom has to return within three days, or Aunt Bounty wonโt survive.โ
Anabelleโs heart tightened. Could Olive really return in time? What if she couldnโt?
โGrandma, youโre tired. Go rest. You donโt need to go anywhere for three days.โ
โBut I want to see Bounty.โ
โNo need, Grandma. My brotherโs at the hospital.โ
Nathan?
Levi nodded. โBefore Mom left, she told us to guard this place. Donโt worry, my brother will handle things.โ
A weight lifted from Anabelleโs heart. Olive had planned everything. Levi was here, and Nathan too; Olive only needed three days.
Anabelle went to her window, but stopped when she saw Alphaโs car parked below. He had followed her and was now smoking a cigar, leaning against his car. She couldnโt see his expression clearly, but she sensed his frown.
At that moment, Anabelle felt exhausted. She noticed he was still wearing his slippers. He must have rushed over, without even changing shoes.
Anabelleโs eyes welled with tears. A wave of nausea hit her. She rushed to the bathroom and vomited bitter bile. Exhausted, she collapsed on the carpet, pale. What was wrong? Was she sick?
Alpha finished his cigar, noticing her light was still on, but not for him. He got back in his car and drove to the hospital.
