Raylee was strolling along the campus pathway, ready to head home, when unexpectedly, a tall man wearing a mask blocked her way.

“Hey there, you’re really pretty. Can I add you on Instagram?” The man took the initiative to ask for her contact information.

Right after being bothered by Casimir, Raylee was annoyed that another nuisance had shown up. She didn’t even spare the man a glance, let alone engage with him.

At that moment, Jeremiah was not wearing his usual steel mask but a white face mask, revealing a pair of arched brows and profound black eyes. Just from his eyes and his well-defined forehead, one could easily discern just how handsome this man truly was.

“What are you doing here?” Raylee asked excitedly. “You’re only wearing a face mask, aren’t you afraid of being recognized?”

“Wearing my usual mask is too conspicuous, so I opted for a face mask instead. I never personally picked you up from school, so I owe it to you. That’s why I’m here today.”

At that moment, Raylee was overwhelmed by warmth and sweetness.

“You’ve never owed me anything. And if there’s a next time, no more sneak attacks. I almost kicked you in the groin just now.”

“I just wanted to surprise you, haha. Why do you always want to kick someone in the groin at the get-go? How did I end up with such a fierce girlfriend?” Jeremiah kissed her forehead, adding, “We’ve been to a lot of places, but we’ve never tried dating in school before! “So this is your real goal, isn’t it? To make others stop coveting me!” Raylee laughed.

Jeremiah gritted his teeth in resentment.

Right then, Halston rode over on his electric bike, patting the empty space on the back seat.

“Ray–Ray, come. I’ll take you home now.”

Raylee frowned, saying. “How dare you still talk to me? Aren’t you afraid that Jeremiah will teach you a lesson?”
