Chapter 326: Framed and Sent Abroad

Tiffany stared at her blood-smeared hands, panic seizing her. โ€œNo, I didnโ€™t kill anyone! She rammed her head into the wall herself! Sheโ€™s falsely accusing meโ€ฆโ€ However, faced with undeniable evidence, no one believed a word she said. Waverly was urgently rushed into the operating room. Meanwhile, Tiffany found herself surrounded by the hospitalโ€™s security guards. Her combat skills had injured several people, triggering the hospitalโ€™s security system and mobilizing armed police.

News of Tiffany Lorimer, eldest daughter of the prominent Lorimer family, openly committing murder and assaulting hospital staff, spread rapidly, causing a public uproar. Her apparent abuse of power and bullying ignited intense societal discourse. Fortunately, before it became a trending topic, the Lorimer Groupโ€™s public relations department swiftly suppressed the negative publicity.

Upon hearing the news, Alaric immediately took his wife, Harriet, to confront the Lorimer family. Harriet was overwhelmed with grief at the sight of her unconscious, blood-covered daughter. Heartbroken, her tears flowed freely. Rosalind stood aside, offering apologies.

โ€œDonโ€™t be upset, Mrs. Goodridge. Iโ€™ll find the best doctor for your daughter. Itโ€™s my fault for not managing my own daughter properly. I apologize.โ€

Alaric angrily retorted, โ€œShe almost cost our daughter her life! Do you think a simple apology solves everything?โ€

He continued, โ€œMr. Victor, youโ€™re the influential figure of the Lorimer family, the most prominent in Jexburgh. You run Lorimer Group, balancing business and politics. How could you break your word and allow your daughter to harm mine? Why did you accept Snow Wave Amusement Park if you couldnโ€™t keep your promises?โ€

Resentment welled up inside Rosalind. โ€œMr. Goodridge, even though you graciously withdrew from the project, it was a transaction between elders. My daughter received no compensation. The banquet incident irrevocably harmed my daughter. Itโ€™s understandable if she harbors thoughts of revenge. I think we should call it even. Letโ€™s not bother each other anymore.โ€

Alaric, dissatisfied, exclaimed, โ€œMrs. Lorimer, did I hear you correctly? I handed over our familyโ€™s foundation to save my daughterโ€™s life, and now you want to call it even? Thereโ€™s no such thing as a free lunch. I wonโ€™t rest until I get an explanation!โ€

โ€œYouโ€ฆโ€ Rosalind began to argue.

โ€œEnough!โ€ Victor interrupted, his voice heavy with seriousness. โ€œRosalind, get ready. Arrange for Tiffany to go abroad. Sheโ€™s not allowed to return without my permission. Mr. Goodridge, are you satisfied? I assure you, if anyone from the Lorimer family harms your daughter in the future, you can choose any Lorimer Group project, and Iโ€™ll hand it over without a fight.โ€

Alaricโ€™s anger subsided slightly. โ€œMr. Lorimer, remember those words. I hope you live up to them. Letโ€™s go, Honey.โ€

โ€œYouโ€™ve let greed cloud your judgment! Sending your own daughter abroad? I canโ€™t believe youโ€™d do such a thing!โ€

โ€œBut Tiffany said she didnโ€™t kill anyone! She claimed Waverly banged her own head against the wall to frame her.โ€

โ€œIs there any evidence? Without it, sheโ€™s making baseless claims! Even if true, the girlโ€™s ruthlessness proves sheโ€™s tough. If Tiffany continues to challenge her, sheโ€™ll suffer a setback. Sending her abroad might not be such a bad idea after all,โ€ Victor said, analyzing the situation.

That day, Rosalind urgently sent Tiffany abroad. She couldnโ€™t return for at least three to five years. Upon learning this while hospitalized, Waverly felt a wave of relief. Having driven Tiffany away, she had one less formidable opponent to worry about. Her safety, for now, was somewhat assured.

Next, it was time to deal with Mindy. She clenched her fists, her face fierce. Casimir entered the sickroom. Waverly feigned weakness, forcing herself to sit up.

โ€œYouโ€™re awake? Hurry up and lie down.โ€ Casimir assisted her.

With red-rimmed eyes, Waverly confided, โ€œIโ€™m so scared, Casimir. Tiffany said she wouldnโ€™t let me off the hook. She believes I orchestrated the banquet incidentโ€ฆ But I wasnโ€™t afraid of her hurting me. I feared youโ€™d get caught in the crossfire. Once my parents arrive, Iโ€™ll have them visit your family to call off the marriage. Then, you can publicly announce our engagement is off. Tiffany should leave you alone if we have no ties left!โ€
