Chapter 250
The car screeched to a halt, and Esme gasped, her face pale.
โGet out,โ Alexander said coldly, his eyes on Esme.
Esme bit her lip. โAlexander, I know I messed up.โ
โI said, get out!โ His icy tone left no room for argument.
โThis is the loop road. Are you really leaving me here?โ Esmeโs eyes welled up.
โYouโre resourceful, right? Just a loop road,โ Alexander sneered. โEsnie, remember this. You can use me and cause chaos in the Tudor family, but if my grandmother gets hurt, I wonโt forgive you, even if you saved me.โ Alexanderโs tone was harsh.
Esme felt like sheโd been punched. โIs your grandmother that important?โ
โWhat else?โ Alexander frowned. โIf you donโt respect her, forget about marrying into the Tudor family!โ
โI did respect her, but she humiliated me in front of reporters! She told me to get off the stage and said I should be your sister! What more do you want from me?โ Esme was upset.
Alexander stayed silent, waiting for her to get out.
Esmeโs anger flared. โIโve put up with enough for you. Do you want me to be like Elizabeth, serving your family like a maid?โ
Alexanderโs face turned cold. โElizabeth was like a maid?โ
โGet out,โ he said, not wanting to argue anymore.
Compared to Elizabeth, Esme didnโt measure up.
Thunder rumbled.
Esme looked at the sky, then back at Alexander. โItโs going to rain. Was he really leaving her here?โ
Alexanderโs face was set.
Esme bit her lip, glared at him, and angrily got out of the car.
โFine, Iโll get out! Heโll come back and apologize later!โ she thought.
However, the car door closed, and Alexander drove off without hesitation.
Esme watched his car disappear and shouted, โAlexander! You bastโโ
He really left her!
Alexander glanced in the rearview mirror. Heโd spoiled Esme too much, making her reckless and thoughtless. He decided she needed to learn a lesson.

But Esme regretted it as soon as she got out. She called Alexander; he didnโt answer. She squatted and texted him: โJAlexander, I really know I was wrong. Wonโt do it again, okay?โ
At the hospital, Alexander arrived just as the rain started pouring.
โLishun had so much rain and snow lately,โ Earn sighed.
โWhere were you all afternoon?โ Blake asked.
Alexander noticed fresh fruit on the bedside table.
โElizabeth just visited your grandmother. She left when it started raining,โ Elara said.
Alexander paused as lightning lit up the city. โShe just left?โ
โYeah, didnโt you see her in the elevator?โ Elora asked.
Alexander thought he might have seen a familiar figure earlier.
โElizabeth is really good. The Tudor family wronged her,โ Elara sighed.
Years ago, after Elaraโs car accident, Elizabeth took care of her. Without Elizabeth, Elara wouldnโt be where she was now.
