Chapter 401

Winifred could see right through Paigeโ€™s lousy acting. โ€œLetโ€™s see what sheโ€™s really up to,โ€ she thought.

โ€œFine, go ahead,โ€ Sienna said.

Siennaโ€™s sudden agreement left Paige stunned. She stared at Sienna in disbelief. Maybe it was because Sienna had just had her babies, but the chill around her had faded a bit, replaced by a touch of gentleness. Still, those eyes of hers were enough to send shivers down anyoneโ€™s spine.

Paige gritted her teeth, her face pale. โ€œOkay,โ€ she muttered.

Finally, Paige got her wish and saw the kids. Each one was adorable, like little porcelain dollsโ€”so cute and beautiful it almost hurt to look at them. There was a clear resemblance to Sienna in their features, especially around the eyes and brows.

Paige eyed the dozen or so nannies standing guard nearby and the hundred bodyguards stationed outside the door. She swallowed nervously. There was absolutely no chance of taking the kids out of here. She had no choice but to go with the second option.

Paige pulled out her phone, pretending to send a message while secretly snapping photos. The nannies didnโ€™t notice a thing. โ€œThe babies are so cute,โ€ she said with a forced laugh.

After a quick look, Paige decided to leave. With just a glance from Sienna, Lana was on her tail in a flash.

โ€œSienna, she took some photos,โ€ Julian said, wrapping his arms around her waist from behind and resting his head on her shoulder.

โ€œHonestly, I was more worried sheโ€™d do nothing at all,โ€ Sienna replied. โ€œAlright, go see the babies first. Lana should have news soon.โ€

Julian nodded and placed a gentle kiss on her forehead.

โ€œMs. Hart, you were right. She didnโ€™t go homeโ€”instead, she went to a villa. She was inside for less than ten minutes. Reno hacked into her phone and found her photo album was wiped clean,โ€ Lana reported.

โ€œWho did she meet?โ€ Sienna asked.

Reno replied, โ€œMs. Hart, Iโ€ฆ I still donโ€™t know. I apologize for my incompetenceโ€”I couldnโ€™t find out who lives there. Weโ€™ll only know if we check it out in person.โ€

โ€œAlright. Reno, stay here and keep watch on that family. Lana, go bring Paige in,โ€ Sienna said coolly.

Just as Paige opened the door, she saw Lana standing there. Her eyes went wide in shock, and she spun around to run. But the bodyguards behind her moved fast, grabbing her before she could get away.

โ€œWhat are you doing? Why are you grabbing me? I didnโ€™t do anything! You have no right to take me!โ€ she shouted, struggling desperately.

Lana approached her slowly. โ€œYou know exactly what you did. Come with me. Ms. Hart wants a word with you.โ€

โ€œI donโ€™t know anything! Why are you grabbing me?โ€ Paige protested, trying to sound innocent. โ€œAs long as I refuse to admit anything, what can Sienna really do to me?โ€ she thought stubbornly.

โ€œLetโ€™s go.โ€ Lana said, not bothering to argue. She pulled out a dagger from her belt and started spinning it in her hand, making her intentions crystal clear.

Paige swallowed nervously and blurted out, โ€œWait! Iโ€™ll go with you, Iโ€™ll goโ€ฆโ€

Chapter 401

When they arrived at the Hart family estate, Paige was shocked to find her daughter, Tanya, already there. Her heart sank when she saw Tanya tied up.

Without thinking, she shoved past the bodyguards and rushed over. โ€œTanya! Sienna, if you have a problem, take it up with me! Leave my daughter out of this!โ€

Sienna sat with effortless grace in a black wooden chair, her moonlight-white dress making her look like a goddess stepped right out of a painting. Her aura was cool, regal, and utterly out of reach. Her indifferent eyes fell on Paige, making her feel even smaller.

โ€œWho did you give my childrenโ€™s photos to?โ€ Sienna asked, her tone calm as ice.

โ€œIโ€ฆโ€ Paige froze, completely stunned. She hadnโ€™t expected them to find out. โ€œHow could they possibly know? I was so careful snapping those pictures,โ€ she thought. โ€œWait, they donโ€™t have any evidence,โ€ she reassured herself. Her phone was empty nowโ€”there was nothing left on it.

โ€œI donโ€™t know what youโ€™re talking about. What photos?โ€ she said, feigning innocence.

Siennaโ€™s icy stare landed on Tanya, instantly bringing back memories of when she was locked up in the Hart family houseโ€™s dark room a year ago.

Tanya grabbed Paigeโ€™s shoulders and shook her hard. โ€œMom, just come clean already! Are you trying to get me killed?โ€

โ€œShut up! I donโ€™t know anything!โ€ Paige shot back, never expecting Tanya to cave so easily. โ€œThey donโ€™t have any proofโ€”thereโ€™s no way they can pin this on me,โ€ she thought stubbornly.

โ€œDo I need to have someone recover the records from your phone? Or should I have someone break your daughterโ€™s leg first? Guards, come here,โ€ Sienna said coldly.

โ€œOh my god! No! Mom, just tell them! Please, just tell them!โ€ Tanya screamed, her voice trembling with fear.

Tanya shook Paige desperately, using all her strength. Paigeโ€™s face was ashen, sweat streaming down her face. Her hands wouldnโ€™t stop shaking as she stammered, sneaking nervous glances at Sienna.

โ€œSienna, come on, Iโ€™m still your aunt, arenโ€™t I? If I come clean and tell you everything, you wonโ€™t hold it against me, right?โ€ she begged, her voice trembling.

Siennaโ€™s eyes grew cold, a predatory smile tugging at the corners of her lips. Her face was breathtakingly beautiful, but right now, it was downright chilling.

โ€œSienna, that dayโ€ฆ after I left your place, I ran into this womanโ€”no, wait, it was actually a man. He said he was your friend and handed me thirty million dollars, told me to do him a favor if he ever needed it,โ€ Paige stammered, her voice trembling.
