She turned to Sienna. “Hazel Noir, don’t tell me you’re actually reluctant? I know you and my cousin are finished, and now you need my help with this deal. I only want ten percent of the profits, and the condition is exactly what you said—a marriage alliance.” Demi was never one for subtlety. She stated her terms plainly.
Sienna rubbed her belly. “Alright. Glad to do business with you. I’ll have him sent over to you tonight.”
Demi broke into a wide grin. The moment she saw his photo, she was instantly smitten. “How could there be such a ridiculously handsome guy, with that mature, magnetic vibe too?” That face was absolutely flawless—even if she searched the world, she doubted she could find another man who met all her criteria. If she hadn’t been certain she and Sienna had never met before, she would have suspected Sienna chose him to match her tastes.
“Hope you don’t mind me asking, but is that guy a relative of yours?” Demi asked.
Sienna looked up, her eyes calm. “He’s my father,” she replied evenly.
Demi gasped. Her father? ‘She’s actually introducing me to her own dad? Hazel Noir is really showing some serious sincerity here!’ She honestly thought Sienna was only setting her up with a random relative at most.
