Chapter 192
Sheryl was consumed by a burning desire to destroy Sienna. Siennaโs brilliance was so dazzling it left Sheryl with nowhere to hide.
A dark thought flashed through Sherylโs mind: she should kill her. They were standing by the sea. If she just pushed Sienna over the edge, just one push, it would all be over.
Then she would no longer be the disgrace of the Winslow family.
โGo to hell!โ Sheryl charged forward like a bull. Hudson was startled. Is this woman coming at me? What the hell?
Without hesitation, he kicked out, sending Sheryl flying. โWho the hell are you?โ
Sheryl hadnโt expected to be kicked away before she even got close to Sienna. The pain was so intense it sent tears streaming down her face, a bone-deep agony nearly keeping her from getting back up.
โYou!โ Sherylโs outburst drew everyoneโs attention. Wayne paused what he was doing.
After realizing he didnโt know her, Hudson leaned in, giving Sheryl a thorough once-over. โWho are you? Why are you getting close to me?โ
ฮ ฮ quietly stepped back.
Sheryl was speechless. โWhoโs even trying to get close to him? What a narcissist!โ
Sienna recognized Sheryl as someone from the Winslow family; it was obvious Sheryl was there for her. โAre you looking for me?โ
Sheryl glared at Sienna, her whole body shaking with rage. The knife behind her back was already gripped tight, and her face twisted into a sinister smile. โYeah, Iโm here for you, Sienna. Go to hell!โ
With that, Sheryl lunged at Sienna, brandishing the knife in her hand.
โOh no!โ Hudsonโs face went pale with shock. โSienna!โ โEnna!โ
But in the very next second, they realized their worries were pointless. Sienna broke Sherylโs wrist right then and there, a loud crack echoing through the air.
Sherylโs face turned ghostly pale from the pain. โYou! Let go of me!โ The knife hit the ground with a sharp clang.
โYou wanted to kill me?โ Siennaโs voice was icy and scornful, like she was some untouchable goddess looking down on everyone else. In her eyes, Sheryl was nothing.
โYes! Sienna, why are you going after the Winslow family?โ
Sienna casually withdrew her hand, turned around, and took out a handkerchief to wipe her fingers. โTwisting facts is just what the Winslow family does best. Itโs already over for you. Youโd better behave yourself in prison.โ
As soon as she finished speaking, Sheryl heard the wail of police sirens. Only then did it finally hit her what sheโd done.
If things got any messier now, her grandfatherโs party would beโฆ
Sherylโs face went from pale to alien as she collapsed to the ground in utter despair.
โNo, no, Sienna, I know I was wrong. Iโm sorry, Iโm sorry. Please, donโt call the cops,โ
Sienna didnโt feel a shred of sympathy. If she let Sheryl go now, sheโd be gambling with her own life.
โNo, please, donโt take me away. I didnโt kill anyone, I swear!โ And just like that, the cops dragged Sheryl away.
Wayne clenched her fists. โThe Winslow family deserves to rot in hell. Sienna, I wonโt let Sheryl get away with this.โ
โItโs getting late, Wayne. I should head back.โ Just as Sienna was about to leave, Ethan, his face bruised and swollen, crawled up to her.
He begged, โMiss Enna, please, please help me. I donโt want to be separated from Nora!โ
Sienna knew that Ethan and Nora were already divorced, and Nora had been going on and on about moving in with her. If it werenโt for Winifredโs dissuasion, she probably would have already agreed.
โI canโt help you. Youโre on your own,โ Sienna said.
