Chapter 620: Caden slipped into the car, looking serious. "I'll drop you back at the office," he said. "I've got something urgent to handle."

Alicia's nerves immediately tightened. "Is it serious?"

Caden sealed his lips. "I can take care of it."

That vague answer confirmed her fears. She tried to be direct. "Is it personal or company-related?"

"The company."

"Anything I can do to help?"

"Just take care of yourself. I don't know when I'll be back, so don't worry while I'm gone."

Realizing he wouldn't say more, Alicia remained silent. But as soon as Caden left, she discreetly investigated. Within a few hours, she learned he'd gone overseas to Itrubisite, the location of company headquarters. Since his return, Caden had been minimally involved with headquarters; this sudden trip indicated something significant was happening.

Alicia sat at her desk, consumed by worry. Then, an idea struck her, and she called Hank.

"Ms. Bennett," Hank answered, "please don't ask. Mr. Ward told me not to say anything."

Alicia replied firmly, "I'm not asking about his company. I just want to know how Yolanda is doing."

Hank was cautious. "Mr. Ward's trip has nothing to do with Yolanda."

"I know," Alicia sighed, resting her head in her hand. "But can you at least tell me if the company issue is connected to the Moss family?"

Hank was about to reply when a knock interrupted them. Alicia hung up. She sighed softly. "Come in."

Her secretary announced, "Ms. Bennett, Mrs. Moss is here to see you."

Alicia hadn't expected a visit from Regina. She still possessed the elegance and beauty Alicia remembered, though fatigue lined her eyes. Alicia prepared a cup of jasmine tea. As the aroma filled the air, Regina smiled gently. "I wasn't sure if you would agree to meet with me."

Alicia shook her head. "I have no resentment toward you."
