Chapter 384:

Knowing Caden, Hank expected more than a simple request to follow Blake's car. He anticipated Caden would suggest ramming it. However, Hank lacked the courage to question the instruction. He simply accelerated to match Blake's speed.

Blake quickly realized he was being followed, and not subtly. It was a blatant provocation. At the next red light, Blake's patience snapped. He rolled down his window. "Caden, what's your deal?"

Caden glanced at Alicia, who sat silently beside him, noticing nothing unusual. Without emotion, he replied, "What could I have done to make you say that?"

Blake gestured to their cars. "Your side mirror was practically touching my window. What do you think?" Caden's car had clearly encroached, parked far too close. They were so near, they could almost touch.

Caden remained unperturbed. "What's the problem? My assistant just got his license; he's still learning. You should be thankful he didn't hit your car."

Blake was speechless. Before he could respond, the light turned green. Caden made no move to reposition his vehicle. Blake, tense, started his engine, and predictably, his door was scraped.

Alicia sighed, witnessing the entire exchange. Blake muttered, "It's no surprise he can't win you over. Who'd want to deal with someone like him?" Alicia's lips tightened. Without a word, she called Hank.

Hank straightened. "Ms. Bennett," he said.

"Give the phone to Caden," Alicia said curtly.

Hank looked at Caden, briefly considering an excuse, but Caden already reached for the phone. Before Alicia could speak, Caden asked, "Why are you hanging around that jerk? What's your plan?"

Alicia's voice was calm but sharp. "Caden, if this is your idea of behaving, then don't bother. Just take me back, lock me up, and have your way." Her tone, though steady, held a dangerous edge, sharper than simple anger.

Caden clenched his jaw, struggling to control his frustration. Reluctantly, he mumbled, "It was just an accident."

With a chilling edge to her voice, Alicia retorted, "You're the CEO of Blizzard Group, and you can't even take responsibility for something so trivial?"

Caden fell silent, his expression hardening. "Alicia, could you speak more reasonably?"

She responded without hesitation, "Have you?"
