Chapter 254:
Caden didn't give her a chance to argue. He pressed his lips to hers as he began unzipping his pants.
"You don't have to worry about finishing your work," he said with a satisfied smile. "Just send it to my email. I'll take care of you first."
Alice's cheeks flushed crimson. "What are you talking about?" she protested, though she felt her body respond to his words. The earlier tears vanished, replaced by a burgeoning, uncontrollable desire.
Caden didn't hesitate. Afterward, he looked at her with a self-satisfied smirk. "You can't last long, can you?"
Unable to meet his gaze, Alice turned away, burying her face in the pillow. She wouldn't let him see her shame. He slowed his pace, however, dropping soft kisses along her skin. His deliberate movements drew gasps from her.
"Again?" she whispered breathlessly.
Caden straightened. "Take off my glasses," he ordered.
Without hesitation, Alice leaned closer, using her teeth to grip the frames and remove them.
"What kind of things have you been seeing? You look much more provocative than I remembered," Caden commented.
Embarrassed, Alice quickly replaced her glasses, avoiding his intense stare. His speechless reaction prompted him to push her toward the headboard. Just as he lifted her legs, a thud echoed through the room, interrupting them.
"What's wrong?" he asked.
Hank's voice came from the other side of the door. "Mr. Ward, Mr. Moss is here."
Alicia looked surprised. Caden immediately released her, stepping back before she could fully process the interruption. Alice hastily straightened her clothes. Caden's face remained tense as he explained briefly, "He's Yolanda's father. He's here for something important."
The mention of Yolanda sent Alicia's thoughts to the woman. Confused, she nodded. Caden paused before heading to the door.
Dorian immediately noticed Caden's slightly disheveled shirt and, experienced in such matters, knew what had transpired. "Did I interrupt something?" he asked.
Caden continued buttoning his shirt. "If I had been interrupted, I wouldn't be here," he replied, then turned to Dorian. "What brings you here, Mr. Moss?"
